There is also a mod called "Simply Climb" but the sky climb looks much better.
I've spent like 20 hours within the last week to get back into modding my game and after finally getting it up and running, realized that my PC can only handle about 20-30 FPS with what I installed xD
pack the textures and high poly on uncompressed BSA, it really helps for me

I’ve spent the last three days trying to get all the mods I have to work. Finally found out which mod was causing my game to crash whenever I opened the main menu and it was a HAIR MOD of all things 😭

SkyClimb is what we all expected animated traversal to be, as someone in the comment section of the mod said "Animated traversal crawled so this mod could run"
I think SkyClimb is what had been missing since Daggerfall.
Mern is one of the few mod reviewers that remembers that Photo Mode adds more loading screens to your game.

Holy shit, it's 2023 and we can actually climb in Skyrim now.
You know what blows my mind, That Skyrim is this old and the modding scene hasn't even slowed down, I don't think I have seen any game last this long even with mods. I have a steady supply of games that I check on that can be modded and only Skyrim has stayed this strong, even the Legendary Witcher 3 isn't this strong, I myself haven't continued to mod Skyrim this long and I feel like I have used every mod Nexus has to offer, even though I know I'm no where close. So, You have your work cut out for you Mern, keep up the great work💯👍

Sky climb is awesome I really like it! Makes mountains not as annoying to traverse!
I could care less about the TikThot mods but the climbing mod is an improvement. However Skyrim could use a more improved combat animation that doesn't come from Dark Souls and Elden Ring. No offense to fans of those games, I am myself a fan, but that combat style gameplay is goofy af.

a cocktail of puppeteer master, custom idle wheel menu, poser hot key plus and many other techniques I've learned over the years!

I eould use UBE if u didnt have 800+ 3BA mods and even now ZaZ doesnt have 3BA stuff. Thats the only drawback for me. Maybe someone will make it for Starfield.
Also for animation mods i would check out Smooth. Thats their name on TH-cam and Nexus.

Hi sir. I don't play skyrim since Legendary edition. Would you recomend me the Special edition or Anniversary? i ask cause i don't know if both versions of the game can use same mods.
Also Skyclimb has 6 pages of bugs that haven't been addressed so as they say "enter at your own risk"
Most of those bugs are issues with EVG Animated Traversal. Known issues, which can be solved by reading mod descriptions and making sure to install all the required mods. I've tested Skyclimb on large load orders and haven't had any issues so far.

It's an animation mod, so It won't hurt your game to install it and try it out. If it doesn't work you can always remove it. Just make sure to run Nemesis again after removal.

Skyrim modding is a beast in itself. I recently came from heavily modded fallout runs.
I thought aye im pretty savy with fallout mods, skyrim will be a breeze...
Skyrim: oh you want this cool mod? You'll need another 4 mods all of which have more mods required to make them work.
I like EVG traversel but Everytime i install it to my mod list which is huge i always get the lever sound queue for it because im pretty sure it has an incompatibility with eldenrim weapon arts love that mod. Had to choose between the two.
You used nemesis right?
@@totallynotaliar9912 yes. Even edited the files, tried to find the issue in creation kit and ran wyre bash to try to find the main issue. But no luck.

@@totallynotaliar9912 I did indeed find the issue, it was Elden Rim. I think it might be the locomotion, still doing some testing on it so I could possibly patch it for the future and maybe get it uploaded.

A little smoother speed interpolation on Skyrim Motion Control, and I think it's really close to perfect. I've been waiting for a proper movement tweaker that'd make moving feel something closer to MGSV or Assassins Creed, where theres a real sense of weight when starting and stopping movement. It's close, but the jitters in speed change are still noticeable.

Breh imagine the mods and the advancements made by time ES6 releases, plus with all the advancements made on skyrim they'll quickly transfer over to ES6 in terms of understanding implementations and how things work

The Motion Control fast running is in "granny" mode, look at that posture! :D Annoying that many people equate the short sprint acceleration phase as sustained fast running...

Wheeler has made playing as a spellsword infinitely better. Skyclimb is also really cool. Being able to actually climb mountains is something I've always wanted. I'll be waiting for mods that add chests or other goodies in areas that can only be reached by climbing. Both are S-tier mods.

@@DrHirselmfao I was watching my mom play skyrim for the first time and she accidentally murdered the whiterun stable guy who sells horses, got a 1000 gold bounty, and then stole the horse and ran off.
It did not climb mountains very well :(
It is content like yours (and mods like the ones that keep being released!) that keep dragging me back into the world of Skyrim! I know this game is over a decade old but new stuff keeps coming out, the boundaries keep being pushed back and I AM HERE FOR IT!

What snow mods are you using? I tried a combination of Nordic snow and better dynamic snow, but they didn’t flow well texture creases were everywhere). Using BDS alone was more seamless, but still looks weird next to roads and wind helm. Your snow mod(s) looked really good!
Simplicity of snow works much better for me than BDS. And try Skurbros brighter snow textures (under the optional files in his landscape texture mod). Looks amazing with ENB complex terrain parallax :)

MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL BOTH OF THESE MODS: powerofthree's Papyrus Extender and powerofthree's Tweaks. I know this from experience 🤧

I think modders love flexing on Bugthesda and their ineptitude when it comes to anything more than slapping a coat of paint on Oblivion and calling it a groundbreaking new game. Ladders. A triple A studio with a billion dollars is baffled by them, and some modder does it for free. Modders are amazing.
Would be nice for an all in one mod package, plug and play like the ones for Fallout 4 that overhaul the graphics and adds the new character models and clothing for dummies like me that don't have time to mod things myself and just want to install and go, I looked at the link for the body mod and they said you have to do the rest yourself to get clothing working correctly..smh ..why leave people hanging?

How is it possible to run the animation/combat mods unless you have 3ds max and HCT? 3ds Max is crazy expensive, and I can't find a good link to HCT anywhere. I keep watching Mern's videos, and they look great, but I can't seem to figure out how to incorporate the necessary requirements to run the mods.

I use TDM and good locomotion animation mods from both Levifusion and Kars!
I prefer MSI PCs but i guess i'll consider yours... Also I'm back again modding skyrim time to play as an enhanced default male character because it's fun.

The background music is from outward. That was such an unexpectedly good game.
It's great that you can mod the game endlessly but I used it just to fill the holes skyrim had. The skyui mod is brilliant but along with skse, deadly dragons, civil war, run for your lives, a few different texture mods and unofficial patches. Lore friendly mods made this game last for me, also skill tree overhauls aint too bad. I just think people are going waaaaaayy over the top. But that's the beauty of it.

There is one thing I have been waiting for since the game came out in 2011, and I have yet to see any mod that does this. Not even sure if this is possible
Animated trees that blow around and bend with the wind, water droplets falling off them when its raining etc. With stuff like enb complex grass, more windy grass mods etc it would complement those so well if you could have the trees also animated. I feel like its the 1 thing skyrim modding is sorely missing right now, if any mod like this exists someone plz let me know :P

I think your character's hair physics jiggle a little too much unrealistically.. If you tone it down a little, it might look better. But it's upto you, bro
other than the vaulting system, everything else i see on nexus is pretty much translations, skimpy armors, compatibility patches and wannabe survival mods. i wouldn't say the "activity" we got currently is necessarily positive.

I have no idea why Skyrim scrip extender keeps failing and SkyUI as well. I have Special edition and it fail when i load up the game after I log in the next time.
