The axe custom is basically a request to become a vassal. Its essentially the final ultimatum before war; "Your lands belong to me. If you accept the axe, you get to rule them. If you refuse, I will take them." I can't remember the exact symbolism its based on, but by offering the axe its effectively offering patronage and support; reminiscent of a lesser lord offering weapons to peasants. Refusal on that level would be refusal to aid the community in its time of need, which would be punished with exile and outlawrey. Scale that up to a prospective king seeking allies.
I highly recommend after this, doing the same thing for the Relics of Hyrule's Archive. It's very well put together, even if the mod is still being updated with new content all the time

Hey there tuver4 i wanna say ever since i found you're channel you actually inspired me to totally overhaul my xbox modlist for lotd and i gotta say best decision i made i actually feel a purpose for collecting stuff instead of shoving them in chests in my houses i just started a samurai themed character for my new playthrough katanas and everything but i absolutely love this series and can't wait to see more ❤
epic video, these videos are so well edited and dope i've watched the first 3 epsiodes liek 10 times each. Keep it up i want them asap but make sure you keep the quality as awesome as its always been
Not sure how you feel on the subject but I wouldnt be against you console commanding in items which are literally impossible to get because of bugs. It's a Bethesda game, just be transparent about the issue like you were here and most people are gonna get it.

Well, at least some of the artifact holders are getting monetary compensation. And now they can visit it any time they like! Honestly I've yet to properly collect everything for the museum and hadn't seen a few of these, probably missed them by accident like the torc. That or I just didn't have the additional mod which is more likely lol either way it's neat to watch a playthrough intentionally focused on all the museum relics with the many add-ons I didn't use. Unfortunate about the guard light armor though, I wouldn't blame you for off-screen "commissioning" them or something given they weren't spawning due to some bug or extremely bad rng.

I wonder how the citizens of solitude feel seeing the museum curator with actual daedric artifacts and armor and equipment tying him to some of the largest criminal organizations in skyrim
I've had the same problem with the guard armour in multiple runs I just give it to myself with console commands, the codes for them are on the lotd wiki. XX007AA9 (XX must be replaced with the number Guards Armor Replacer SSE has in your load order) That's riften light armour for example
after that back story I can confidently say the sinister seven were in the right
