Unfortunately it flatters to deceive as it's more about background music as you can hardly hear the music of the din of the chattering classes who are in the sweet spot eating. I've been on more than one occasion and asked if they could turn the volume up to be met by a polite no, so those impressive bass drivers are pointless

You should look in to how a lot of stuff is monitored. Even in the early 2ks, producers were already recounting how they tested masters on car systems (CD and even FM) and earphones including buds as early as the 90s. Why? Their reasoning is simple, it has to 'pop' through the listening medium in which the music will be predominantly consumed. It's not a wonder for them to hear something different in a system like this. It's like seeing through the actors' make up recorded at 420p when viewed from a 1080p or 4k remaster.
If you add a good subwoofer to your system you will probably re-listen to all your favorite albums, you didn't hear the low frequency so well before so it becomes an new aural playground for your ears for a while. But judging by those speakers and boxes I'd say the mids are probably emphasized much more than real highs and lows, so midrange information could be revealed more (not more accurately).
These guys are the real deal. I could easily spend hours there.

So what is your conclusion? Was the long tone arm or the short tone arm better?
That would depend on the cartridge....but there is a lot to be said for a longer tonearm.
That adapter weight is ridiculous it does not make any difference...
Probably slows the record down! Actually, the UK's top turntable engineer is dead against the effects that record clamps make to the sound.
It's a record weight....and they they actually do make a difference.
I've had the idea to do something similar for a while now, just not as extravagant.
