(which it didn't). survived 3 wrecks while drinking and driving. all solo wrecks from a span of 18-21 years old. started fishing hard 8 months after I turned 21. ill be turning 24 in December. and I have never been the same person. I learned most of what I know about fishing from you. you are a great teacher. when you posted your video about the structure of how you live your life. I realized I found very similar structure after my 3rd wreck. broken bones, staples in my head, facing a second DUI. I found you. Learned how to actually fish. Found God. and I have a woman who is a gift from God that has been beyond amazing and stuck it out with me through it all. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say this. You have a big impact on people lives.
LFG , The one thing that impresses me the most is how down to earth you are. I feel like you're my next door neighbor, just one of the guys. Thank you for that. Your approach to this surgery is so positive! I think I'd be freaking out. I think that it says a lot about your faith and the people around you especially Steph. Having gone through brain surgery myself for a cavernous hemangioma, I DO know what you have in store. Please DO NOT push yourself to make videos afterward. PLEASE. Your brain will need to rest. At least for a day or two, let OSG do the thinking. Just concentrate on YOU. Prayers going up for you, and I know you and OSG will Keep looking UP!!!!
Yes Justin! Certainly no watching television or a computer screen. Let your brain recover. Janna... were you awake through the procedure? During select procedures, they will leave you awake or only lightly sedated so they can monitor your neuro status throughout the procedure.
I was under complete sedation, but that was in 1996, so that procedure may be performed differently now. I know I would not have been in any shape to make a video afterwards for several days!
yes don't push yourself...going through 8 in the past 7 months you will be out of it most of the time, even though i had a pediatric brain tumor in the cerebellum and it affected my balance and nerves, don't try to rush through this process
