So many dwell on stupid little everyday life things, and here you were thrown the ultimate curveball and took it like a champ despite all else you had going on in your life. Truly amazing! I've been enjoying your videos for a long time, but wish I could've done more than just watch your videos during the darkest of days you fought through. I have a friend who is about to go through surgery for a brain tumor similar to yours. And it'd mean a lot to me (and her) if I could hear the outstanding mentality that kept you going (and still does), and well as any video recommendations you could make, from yourself or others, that helped you get through it in the beginning. Don't wanna get too deep here, but you are a beacon a hope for me. I've dealt with drug and alcohol abuse for most of my life, I grew up deaf. Last year I had cochlear implant surgery and my ability to hear has increased tenfold. I never hunted as a kid, I was never taught to fish, I just taught myself to a year or so ago as an outlet. I have difficulty believing in God because of the things I've dealt with in my life, but you really epitomize what I would like to be as a man. You're an excellent person and you and your beautiful wife compliment one another so well. It's really reassuring to see. Thank you for videos like this -- appreciate you letting us into your word a little bit. That said, best of luck to you on the 4th - the procedure is routine and you'll be amazed how fast you recover. I assisted in vascular and neuro surgery for 2 years and have seen these cases so many time. You'll be back at it in no time. Positive vibes to you and OSG. All the best my man!

Hey LFG. Literally just got home from a three hour trip back from the hospital and saw this video. Wanted to let you know that my mom had this exact same surgery today. She did awesome! They were able to get the whole tumor out. Four hours total surgery time and was awake and talking soon after. Glad our whole family was there for support, and it looks like you will have the same. Good luck man. Our household will be praying for you. I had a friend in grade 8, 15 years ago or so who had a similar surgery and was in perfect health very quickly afterwards. I'm sure medicine has advanced greatly since then.
