The full-length fifteenth episode of the Pure Pwnage web series. Original release date: November 10, 2007. Official merchandise: www.noobstore.com www.purepwnage.com
the best indie show ever. the last season episodes were fucking so ahead of their time. and T-Bag was a fucking icon when he was added to the show. I remember that Duty Calls was the episode that was the newest when I found it and binged it for years afterwards this thing is still gold
2007 was a mad year for gaming, COD 4, Halo 3, The Orange Box, GH III, Rock Band, C & C 3, Mass Effect, Super Mario Galaxy, the list goes on! Shame gaming has gone downhill so much lately.
Not really gaming is so much better now. All the games you just listed did not stand the test of time. They’re not even enjoyable now by today’s standards
I remember ordering one of those I own noobs t shirts when I was like 16 and wore it so proudly 😂. I had the legendary master chief helmet too and was addicted to this show. This brings back so many memories.
I still got my I pwn Noobs hoodie that I still wear to this day. My T-Bag tshirt wore out a few years ago :( Still rocking Pure Pwnage and FPS Doug stickers on my PC case and I have a road sign of jeremy hanging in my lounge room.
I will never forget the day I first saw this episode back in 2007 and we we're introduced to Troy (T-bag) and I was so excited as a teen to watch the next 2 episodes and instead I saw what happened on the website and cried man for the PP team and for Troy's family, you will be missed. I know I definitely still feel it though I never got to meet any of you yet.
I am addicted to the scene when Jeremy unboxes his Halo legendary edition. Idk if anybody else can relate to that feeling when you got a new console, game or whatever either with your own $ or Christmas but that feeling of just savoring the moment when unraveling it in all its glory. I remember this feeling fondly when I got my Wii, the sleek whiteness of the box and all the packaging, pulling the console out in all its Nintendo wonderfulness. That's why I love Pure Pwnage, it not only encapsulates the behavior, the awkwardness, the skills of gamers, but the emotions too.
"Is that you Bill Gates you motherfu - oh it's you!" Man this was the golden age of gamer content, PurePwnage is super needed today. This series made a persecuted demographic smile :) RIP Troy
It's funny because I was in the second year of University when this episode came out and Halo 3 had just come out. One of my house mates who was a pretty casual gamer, mainly played Fifa, he was exactly like Jeremy in response to Halo 3. He'd never played any of the Halo games but it got so much hype, it was even on the BBC news and he got so excited for Halo 3, even went to a midnight launch. He got bored after about 2 hours lol.
Think I was more or less in second year of uni as well - games programming - god damn i'm fond of these times. Pure Pwnage, AtheneWins, getting excited about E3 and suchlike!
their was a few vids on youtube/his myspace but they changed. He also did a movie called "The Nice guy" but it never got fully released, this 10 minute clip "trailer" was on youtube but it got removed also. Pissed me off because I wanted to see the whole thing.
Welcome to Blood Gulch is my alarm on my phone, every day I wake up to that or another PP tune, 70's intro is jazzy to wake up to, also love swimmer song at the crack of dawn, I truly appreciate ya'll
It got plenty of love. It's just, accidents happen... They went to web, to TV series to movie. They made it, but they could have kept it original, unfortunately, t bag passed away during the project and they couldn't really do anything anymore to keep it the way it was. So Geoff had to reboot it on tv, but with new characters.
Fucking nostalgia. It's so hard watching these episodes. First time I watched this episode was when it came out. I was so damn excited for T-Bag, and I loved him. A few weeks later the guy passes away in a car accident. R.I.P.
This was a great episode, probably the best episode. Everyone is on point, Tagi's acting in Jeremy's fantasy scenes was top notch, We got Doug and Jeremy both experiencing super highs and low lows, and of course, the larger than life T-bag. I fucking love this show. I bought my friend a blue deagle headshot shirt and an airsoft deagle for his 30th. That was 7 years ago and he still cherishes them.
Hard to believe this episode came out like ten years ago. It's sad that Troy is gone and that the will to continue the web series went along with it. Purepwnage was a huge thing in the life of my friends and I.
what i don't get is: she was hooked through at least 2 raiding seasons..which is like probably an entire semester or close to it. How the fuck did she 'catch up on all her classes' within the span of a few hours of not playing ? haha
God I hope the gamer army versus the agency or whatever conflict they were building up exists in the movie or at least they set it up if they plan for a second movie. While I enjoy the gaming aspect and the fact Jeremy's going to lead a team in a big championship, I like this mythos they've created about gaming
That's the kind of attitude that ruins things. He was an awesome addition to the show. The real reason they probably didn't keep the gamer army stuff is because they want to reach a bigger audience.
This was one of my favorite aspects of the show! Like when he recovers from his WoW-state and they replay clips of where that guy had appeared in previous episodes
So incredibly sad. Sometimes I wonder why this had to happen. At least we have absolutely fantastic acting from him in these few episodes to remember that hero by!
Bruh......you hit the nail right on the head from 24:31 to 24:48.That was my exact response on January 2008. I was either playing NBA 2k8 or World Of Warcraft aka WoW. I was one of the guys that was very hyped about it even though I never played or own any Halo games. I only had the hard cover edition of Halo 3 and I traded that game sometime on January 2008. Never played anymore Halo games after that. XD
That's strange that you watched this when it first came out and then Troy died a few weeks later... except he was in episodes 16, 17, 18 which were released almost a year after this episode and had T-Bag in them. I am not sure your timeline is accurate
I actually visited a lot of the locations they shot in when I traveled to Toronto in 2017. It was so surreal seeing the areas that I'd been so familiar with for so long, even never having visited Canada in my life. Would definitely recommend to anybody who hasn't already.
if you google Troy Dixon's name, you ll find a really interesting article about him from the torontoist, as well as his old myspace profile. also there is a famous hip hop dancer with the same name as him that died 1990, and there is a dancing blog refering to that hip hop dancin troy dixon, but he accidentally took photos of t-bag and put it in his article. if you type his name in youtube, you will find a condolences video with lots of great photos of him with way less views than it deserves, as well as a video of him playing rockband with his siblings
I think this episode was a bit against the PP codex, cuz Halo was the typical fancy-graphics-and-a-backstory-but-a-lot-of-kids-on-the-servers-kinda-game. I think you can say that it is kind of the start of what continued with MW2 and so on. Lesser eSport, more candy. I mean don't get me wrong, there actually were serious competitions like the WCG on Halo and I don't wanna say that the game is bad overall, i actually play it, too. But it doesn't deserve to be on the show beneath ZH, SC and CS imo
I know the two guys at 10:24, they're my older brothers friends :P Same with the guy who actually says the "dude, it's Terrance!" line. They got that opportunity because the guy who says the line is in the Gamer Army and got randomly chosen at one of their live shows in Toronto to play Wii Tennis against Dave and Jeremy and he won! :P
So true with console fps, and other modern games out there. The money and effort they put into advertisements and community's to control the majority of consumers opinion on games. FPS has and will always be major suckage on consoles, unless you plug a keyboard and mouse to it.
tbag was so good he ended one of the greatest indie shows ever made because they couldn't write him out
the best indie show ever. the last season episodes were fucking so ahead of their time.

Man. We had it really good. We knew it was really good. But we just didn't really know how utterly godlike it was.
@@jacobross735 worst take I've heard in years.
@@jacobross735 lol its because of people like you that "pay-to-win smartphone games" is so big in 2023 😢
@@jacobross735the fuck you talking about? All those games still go hard as fuck
Rest in peace, Troy. You will be remembered.

Man I remember. RIP
Shannon Mara so sad 😞
Hard for all of us - Troy seemed like such a nice guy. He will be missed.
Indeed.
It wasn't because none of you knew him
Died speeding.

That fucking intro... LMAO. Comedy gold. They could never have done that today.
Damn this is hard to watch now. What a bright spirit. Miss you dude.

Unequivocally PP entered its prime with T-Bag. His playboy character added so much depth to the show and Jeremy's life.
Every episode so poignant in it’s recognition of evolving gaming. Rip the “good ole days” of gaming.
I appreciate this comment so much. Makes me sad tho 😔
Miss the old days.

"Welcome to HD" 1080p episode. True words, Troy. RIP
Straight outta blood gulch, never forget ❤
RiP Troy. Still miss you dude!
The best episode of PP. The scenes where Anastasia is angry for her account being deleted had me in TEARS.
RIP troy, we'll always remember ya bud
was a great dude, if only we got more episodes with him
i wish i could of seen him do his stand up comedy
their was a few vids on youtube/his myspace but they changed. He also did a movie called "The Nice guy" but it never got fully released, this 10 minute clip "trailer" was on youtube but it got removed also. Pissed me off because I wanted to see the whole thing.
Old school TF2. No hats
Troy seemed like such a chill dude. R.I.P bro :(

gosh this series takes me back. I love it and wished it would have gotten way more love.
It got plenty of love. It's just, accidents happen...

R.I.P. Troy =( Loved the whole series. Remember watching it as a teenager back at UNI. Can't wait for the movie =D All the best guys
LMAO the intro with TF2 brought back so many memories. Can it be 2007 again:\?
tbag . still brought a smile in 2020.
That ending close-up of Doug is awesome-sauce!
that old man video bombing at the end was too funny XD

I miss that guy. I wish he'd been around when they made the TV series. I'm sure he would have been in it. Lift, Dip, T-Bag! R.I.P, Troy.
Hard to believe this episode came out like ten years ago. It's sad that Troy is gone and that the will to continue the web series went along with it. Purepwnage was a huge thing in the life of my friends and I.
First time I heard the double-tracking on "Spiker, mauler, rifle, stick," Shit's subtle but adds a hell of a lot.
How?
oh my god Jeremy literally jumping for joy after tagi says she doesn't want to play wow anymore lol
loving this halo 3 unboxing video in the middle
this music video rules too. fuck. rip
hahahaha Kyle saying I guess.... I'll go.... too?
the show was too ahead of its time. shame, kyle should be a millionaire.
This intro got me into TF2 :D long live PurePwnage!!
Jeremy:"oh school" tahji: "ya I almost forgot I was enrolled" hahhahahahah

what i don't get is: she was hooked through at least 2 raiding seasons..which is like probably an entire semester or close to it. How the fuck did she 'catch up on all her classes' within the span of a few hours of not playing ? haha
love going back and watching the whole series over and over. brings back good memories of the old days
Its HEADSHOT TIME! I love how they show off so much PP merchandise in this episode =)
RIP man, heart breaking. Miss the PP Crew, Dave, T-Bag, all of them.

+EkoGrande they already disclosed it wasn't going to be a part of it, unfortunately I think all that ended when t-bag died.
Al Franco No mate...nooooo :(
That's the kind of attitude that ruins things. He was an awesome addition to the show. The real reason they probably didn't keep the gamer army stuff is because they want to reach a bigger audience.
This was one of my favorite aspects of the show! Like when he recovers from his WoW-state and they replay clips of where that guy had appeared in previous episodes
atleast Tbag didnt have to play halo 4 campaign
Why
I still can't believe how down jerimy was with showing dug his balls lol if T-Bag didn't shut that shit down he would've followed through
luckily it's his number one rule
That random native dude at the end was funny as hell
So incredibly sad. Sometimes I wonder why this had to happen. At least we have absolutely fantastic acting from him in these few episodes to remember that hero by!
I always forget T-Bag is dead when I'm watching the episodes with him in. R.I.P
This needs to comeback
No one can replace t bag
@@brifo3394 Then just don't include him.
Get Jeremy, Doug, Tagi, Kyle, Dave...
Would still be pure pwnage
Fuckin oath Terrence. He was an amazing edition. Best man they coulda gotten!
Definitely. It's hard for me and I'm just a fan. I can't imagine for someone that actually knew him.
I remember the day Halo3 came out. It truly was the best day ever Kyle.
Jeremy does a good black voice! And that's coming from a black man!
Jarret Cales's Chris Rock impression is hilarious
I’m so happy I have most of my memorabilia from this show
Bruh......you hit the nail right on the head from 24:31 to 24:48.That was my exact response on January 2008. I was either playing NBA 2k8 or World Of Warcraft aka WoW.

man i had that halo 3 box 360.. it was pretty awesome then sold it for cheap trade in towards ps3 value lmao
T-Bag (Troy Dixon) died. That's where it went. RIP
After you guys finish the movie, please continue the web series. I know it's hard because of Troy, but please find a way to make it work.
the n word
haha
RIP Troy :(
RIP T-Bag AKA Troy Dixon.
Really wish we could've seen him in more episode and in the movie. :'(
I really think Troy Dixon had a bright future in acting. He's so casual.
so much potential and talent gone. Such an amazing guy...RIP.
RIP brah, I remember first hearing about his passing, very sad.
1080p!
Best PP episode ever.
Epic avatar dude!
They filmed this episode at the Downtown Toronto CF Eaton Center, and they filmed the end at Carlton Street and Jarvis Street.
I actually visited a lot of the locations they shot in when I traveled to Toronto in 2017. It was so surreal seeing the areas that I'd been so familiar with for so long, even never having visited Canada in my life. Would definitely recommend to anybody who hasn't already.
Rip troy, i will never forget u, still here in 2017.
It was a shock hearing his death, after watching the episodes in which he was in. Rest in Peace.
RIP Troy. You are missed!

Troy Dixon's death definitely derailed the show. It just wasn't the same after he died.
The Pure Pwnage TV show wasn't the same without Troy Dixon
Yes you can, they're making a movie soon!
Its been posted a million times but RIP Troy
ye he was the best character in the whole show
RIP troy...
Rip t bag
I'll pay my respects
The keycode 69101 was a nice touch.
So true with console fps, and other modern games out there. The money and effort they put into advertisements and community's to control the majority of consumers opinion on games. FPS has and will always be major suckage on consoles, unless you plug a keyboard and mouse to it.
Still can't believe I'll never know how Pure Pwnage was gonna finish...
RIP TBag
I think T-Bag breathed new life into the show. He was such an excellent actor. The good truly die young.
The whole scene with Taji and Jeremy in the beginning.
Halo was what got me into competitive gaming, first!
yo u diD NOT JUST CALL ME THE N-WORD! hahah such a great series. RIP Troy. Funny actor. Very talented. everyone on the show as well.
R.I.P Troy ;(
Wait. Hol up.
How is Kyle getting footage of the parts he’s not there for?
That was the point, he got excited for no reason, and ditched that crap.
Ever CONCEIVED, Kyle.
halo 3 was a cultural event compared to infinite
yeh was sad what happend, he braught somthing fresh to the series and would of been great to c what happend.
R.I.P uncle !! :(
Troy is your uncle?!?
Came back for tbag.....
