Majority of these became inactive between the 2000s and 2010s. On the Black side, the 7 Trees Crips might be the only one that's still around. On the Asian and Polynesian side, there's a bunch of them still around. In San Mateo County, the three gangs you heard about in news reports were the Shoreview Crips, West Side Tongans, and Baby Gangsters. In Richmond, the Sons of Death and the Color of Blood made the most news, but there used to be more Crip/Blood gangs in Richmond alone. Someone needs to make a list of all the Crip, Blood, Asian and Polynesian gangs that existed in the Bay Area and during what time periods.
