    in the winter the heat from the fridge could be an advantage for battery warming.

    It seems flip flips are required footwear for all work on your rig! LOL
    That's a snug fittin' fridge, I like it...growing ever more jealous of your build, hahaha

    Thanks for the upload. I would have loved to see a good rundown of your electrical setup before the fridge went it. Hopefully you will not need to pull it out for a long time, but if you do it may make for a great video.

      I’ll do a full electrical walk through. I still need to lace the wiring add more chafe protection and cut it all to length, now that I have my panel installed. But I have a few more wire runs to do before I’m ready for “cable management” :)

    could be smooth move to have fridge there for outdoor cooking. hmmm.... but ya gotta figure out a way to easily switch the hinging of fridge doors. That would be an engineering feet.... but would allow you set it for outdoor beer reaching.... ah I mean getting food out to cook.. ..... then quick switch to indoor use; set the hinging back to how you have it now.
    PS- for those that dont know.... most fridges you can swap the hinges so they open either way.

    @mrmike1700 ปีที่แล้ว

    Depending on the fridge (some not all can be swapped ) you could swap the hinges to the left side so you wouldn't have to climb all the way inside in case you just wanted to grab a quick drink from the outside .....great job as always though

    • @BrokeOverLand
      @BrokeOverLand  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep the hinges are swappable. Haven’t even thought about swapping it though. Until now. :)

    Jesus H. Christ!
    The measurements for the fridge and hardware, and the opening of the door is down to the gnats ass on that one!

      We had plenty of room. Like a full 1/16 on each side. :). But yeah, getting the fridge through the door had me a bit worried for a while.

    That is one tricked out dog house! Doubles as a camper, I bet!
    What brand of lithium is that?
    How cold does it get only pulling 60W????
    Getting rid of the heat will help the refrigerator and the batteries!

    • @BrokeOverLand

      The batteries are lynx brand cells. I’ll do a review of them some day as I’m not overly impressed with the amount of sag at high current draw. The fridge gets plenty cold and doesn’t seem to cycle much even when empty. I’m happy with it so far.

    • @tehNashty
      @tehNashty ปีที่แล้ว

      I used to sell LiFePO4 cells and BMS at my business Patriotic Motors. Gave it up in 2017.
      Sizing the capacity properly for max load and max run time is pretty important. But, is it as important as your budget?
      I would calculate both of those at the battery and divide the max discharge current by 0.8. The discharge rating is 1C continuous. This is to account for sag.
      If your cells are 100Ah, they will have a 100A discharge rate for almost an hour depending on how many cycles are on them. However, the voltage will sag as they are depleted. I always build a pack to 80% of nominal voltage.

    Where did you buy the refrigerator?

    • @BrokeOverLand
      @BrokeOverLand  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I bought it online from goedekers.com. But I think they started selling the unique brand fridge at Lowes and home depot since then.
