Just played this map. Gotta admit, music was amazing and the fires made it challenging. Also Marni and her goddamn axe. Almost ruined my whole run.
Also Poor Veyle. Could you not kick her down even more, Hounds? She's gonna be an emotional stain on the carpet.

I did this chapter today, my units were around lever 3 advanced classes (I wait until level 20 to promote, I know you're not supposed to do that in engage, but it's a habit of mine), so I am playing in hard difficulty and until this point, beside chapter 11 or maybe 12, the one you lose the emblem rings and time stone, but besides that chapter I never needed to strategise that much.
But this chapter torn me a new one, I cleared it in my first attempt but it legit took me 2/3 hours to clear this, I was chilling, until Griss started to rush me down alongside his whole squad, it was at that moment I saw that Griss was level 8, half of my units did 5 damage to him, and it was like that for every general except Marni, honestly the tensest chapter of the game so far and the atmophere was set up perfectly

yea did this shit on maddening today and holy fk tensest 4 hours of my life (literally spending like 5-6mins per turn to plan my moves)

@@arvenna1900 took me several attempt of like 40min each just to figure out that I was getting aggro from Veyle too soon. I haven't finished maddening yet but I can feel this chapter being the hardest just because the map is already hard itself and also due to how little emblems you can work with (no Celica echoes for Corrin debuff, no Sigurd for more mobility on relevant unit, no Micaiah for full team heal, no Marth, no access to powerful crit-boosted Thoron magic either to fish for long range crit). Even using a DLC emblem on Chloe I was sweating till the end of the chapter.

@@suppi6596 man i don't even know how to avoid aggroing veyle. i pulled zephia to the very right of the map using astra storm and my heart sank when i saw it pulled both hyacinth and veyle together.
only reason i recovered from that was cos dreadful aura is fking insane and it ensured i don't have to eat lodestar rush (which pretty much oneshots everyone i had except louis)

@@arvenna1900 i know im extremely late but what aggros Veyle, Zephia, and Hyacinth is when you get in the range of the Corrupted Wyrm closest to Mauvier, i learnt that the hard way, but good thing time warp saved me from that fate
