He was treated vastly differently to the other beasts on the docu & the Police actually gave him a couple of day's heads up that his place was going to be raided via his fancy lawyer, giving him ample time to get rid of anything he didn't want them knowing about! Don't know if you've saw it yourself pal but it left a very bad taste in my mouth as I am a fan of the band.
Your cousin was a cracking singer. Although he was much smaller than you, he had similar features (square jaw etc) He went bankrupt owing £32million in 2002.. Then died of a heart attack in 2003. I wonder if it was due to stress. It would be enough to give anyone a heart attack 🤷🏼♂️

For the record, the police confiscated Pete Townsend's computers and never found any images of child abuse, or any evidence of Pete's involvement in such a thing. Pete was never found guilty of any charges or convicted and the police never apologised to Pete for their false accusations. On the subject or Ray's cousin Roger Nelhams, I found it hard to believe that Ray thought he was a bit of a gangster, as I knew Roger and he seemed so straight.
M8 I'm a big fan of The Who but there's a documentary available on TH-cam in which Townsend admitted downloading KP on camera in the interview room his excuse was that as he'd used his own credit card to pay for the footage he thought it would be fine as it was him! In the documentary every other nonse that was arrested had their doors put in with no warning but Townsend had 2days notice via his lawyer before they came for him!! Obviously he's got rid of anything incriminating. Seriously m8 his body language was way off for a guy that done nothing wrong & he never did write that book! I avoided watching that for years because I didn't want it to be true or tarnish the band I love but in the end my curiosity got the best of me.
