Albert wouldn’t have been afraid of any of them, but Foreman had a well established reputation of taking it to ultimate level. Albert will have known that. What’s significant here is that they showed Albert the respect he deserved by visiting him and advising him of what he should do. Most people would have just been hospitalised or killed. Albert was fearless, brave and not afraid of anyone, but he wasn’t at that level that Pyle & Foreman were at. Pyle was inside with Jimmy Nash in 1961 for murder - and they both looked like they would be hanged. But they had very powerful friends on the outside who intimidated all of the witnesses and nobbled the jury. Albert was never at that level.
So Shaw and Pyle got pissed and thought they could put it on Albert? But ended up running to Fred for some help? Then the 4 bully boys stuck it on him.......4 tough men who didn't fancy Albert on a 1 to 1. If this is a true story then Roy and Joe go down a peg in my esteem.
