Okay! You got some nice comments, but i hope this one will make your day ;-). 1+ year ago when this pandemia started my swimmer twin daughters were out of water as the most swimmers all over the world. We had to find some dryland training (what they didn't do earlier at all). We found your channel, and started to do the exercises. We do some more too (TRX, and VASA trainer), but a significant part of the dryland training were your workouts. 1 year later my daughter become from 10th in Hungary to 2nd on 200 m breastroke, 6th from 31th on 100 m breastroke, and 5th from from 49th on 50 m breastroke. Become member of the national team on the European championship, what will start next monday. My other daughter also make similar huge steps in her events. So... Just keep up, because what you are doing is good. Well Done!
😁 You have made more than my day friend. Please extend my congratulations to your daughters! You make me very happy to hear about how there hard work has paid off and how my videos have been helping out! How old are your daughters if you don’t mind me asking? You must be very proud as a father and coach to see so much progress from them!
@@TheApolloAthletic They are 18 now. And sure, we are proud, as these are really huge steps forward. th-cam.com/video/ekVaEgcTf7g/w-d-xo.html . Here is the swim what is a 6+ seconds PB (2.29.23, lane 3) in the national championships prelims this year. We hope something similar on the EC too ;-)
@@Hidroncs Very nicely swam. She looks very strong with great DPS (distance per stroke). A close finish as well. You guys have me wishing you the very best in your coming competitions :)
@@donnymo3481 They do 4x 45-60 min dryland training a week + 8x2 hours swimming. We try to make the dryland training to be fun and not boring. Usually start with about 20 min no equipment workout with Alex as a warmup. They try almost every new video on this channel, what are made directly for swimmers, but especially like the 10 min stroke specified no eq trainings like this video. They made often the 16 min full body workout video, and the 25 min dryland workout for swimmers. After that, they are training with some easy weights, or medicine balls (2x a week), and/or Trx, strechcordz, or Vasa trainer (2x a week). They work on diffrent body parts like back+chest or arms+legs, and something to the core every time. If they are too tired to do weight workout, we do extra yoga or streching instead of weighted training.
Yes. Training an extension of a range of motion develops further strength and control on the muscles involved. That strength and control translate into a more effective breaststroke kick.

Another killer workout Alex! Well done buddy! Are you doing any swim comps this year?
Thank you Mike! No official comps for me in sight. It's been a few years since the last time you would have seen me at a meet.
@@TheApolloAthletic Ugh! Well hopefully you could get into one this year? How about maybe hitting a physique or bodybuilding show too?
@@pmikeymike Now that would be a good idea. I'll have a look at what is coming up in the area 👍
@@TheApolloAthletic Awesome! Do you have some good shows in your area?
i'm gonna follow your workout tomorrow morning! Want to build a stronger BR pull and kick.
Right on!
Loved it although i feel like the backstroke one was a bit better
Thanks man🙏
This is great
Knees to chest for breaststroke kick ?

So I have Covid-19 and my Champs meet is in a week and if did not have this I don’t know what I would do
