I'd be interested to see you explore the cuisines of lesser known Caribbean islands one day, maybe as a collaborative video. Somewhere I hardly ever hear of, such as Dominica, St Kitt's and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, etc. Maybe even the differences between Trinidadian cuisine and Tobagonian cuisine would be a good start!
Many beautiful blessings to you and your family! I love chicken feet and I always keep a pack in my freezer, I was searching for an easy soup recipe that didn't use a ton of ingredients, thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe and ideas! 🙏🏽👍🏼
Chris cooking the chicken foot and pumpkin to start then root vegs & dumplings (no sugar is our cooked version of dumplings and it's NOT always spinners in soup in Jamaica) the COCK SOUP comes nearer to the end of cooking hence using less so you can lightly season at the beginning after cock soup you can do final seasoning.
Originally from Trinidad.. been living in Canada 🇨🇦 for almost 30 yrs.. love your channel .. True to your roots and the way it was done in our sweet T&T.. .. Keep doing what u doing.. much 🙌
Chris, only about 10% of human beings are salt sensitive. Perhaps it is our heavy flour and other carb consumption that leads to inflammation and consequently hypertension. Industrial seed oils are pretty toxic as well. Food for thought.
yet I read that over 70 % of Americans will suffer from HBP in their lifetime. I'd be interested to know what is the definition of "salt sanative". If you have any reading material you're willing to share, I'd be grateful. email to caribbeanpot2019 @ gmail.com
I'm becoming more fascinated with Caribbean cooking with each viewing, thanks 😊🙏

This is my favorite Sunday soup to drink. I remember my grandma always making this for me on the weekends, so delicious I’m gonna make some right now.
You could cook a dirty sock in pond water and I'd listen. Keep on keeping on, sir.
luv and thanks for the kind support
