As a car dealer myself, If someone was coming to view a car, I’d never take an offer from another buyer, I’d just inform them that someone was already coming to see the car and if they didn’t take it, then I’d let them know.
Prior to being a dealer, I’d experienced sellers that had sold a car prior to my arrival and know how s**t it feels, so would never want to subject others to that.

@@nate8088 its not of my taste either but true Japanese style, he shoots all his videos in Japanese with english subtitles, he and his son are both advanced fluent, most of his viewers are Japanese. Its the whole MO, in Japan that car would fit right into the lambo scene... as i said not my style either but i do get it...
I was baffled when he criticized the first wrap only to make it 100x worse.
I had someone do similar to me - twice, I'm on my way in a 3 hour trip to pick up a car, someone tried to outbid me when I was 30 minutes away - luckily the guy said if I showed up in an hour he'd ignore the other guy. another guy selling a cyl head, I drove 2 hours and when I get there the guy starts haggling about offers from another state - he was about to screw me but I argued that I just drove 2 hours, got it in my car and took off for the agreed upon price. people are sketchy these days

I’m glad Steve ended up with the LP640, turned out to be an awesome story. Had I known it was Steve in the beginning I wouldn’t have been so upset when the guy sent me the money back!

I live in the Dallas area and traffic is bad enough here. I cannot imagine driving a dually into Houston area pulling a car. And traffic is horrible down there

I've had that same situation. I've been in the truck going to buy a boat that I'd already committed to buy when I got a call from the seller that he had someone coming the next day who was offering $5k more than the asking price. I told him we agreed upon a price and I was on the interstate with cash only 15 minutes away, and he told me I'd have to find another $5k to take the boat home. I told him good luck with his other purchaser, turned around and drove 3 hours home without seeing him or the boat in person. I figured if he was unscrupulous enough to break a deal made less than 24 hours before from someone 150 miles away who was coming with cash in less than 30 minutes from the time he took the call from the other "buyer", he wasn't a person I wanted to buy a boat from.

Also I've (for some reason) sold many cars over the years and I have NEVER accepted another offer when someone was on their way to see or pick up a vehicle. I've always said "If this deal falls through I'll let you know" Sometimes these cheaper vehicles can be someone's life line in a pinch.

I absolutely love R33s. Great combination of the 32 and 34, Supra is amazing. And i keep pythons! Yes some pythons are $10s of thousands of dollars. Its a whole thing lol. Let alone the cost of supplies, breeding racks, etc.

Had this happen when trying to buy my dream car. Made a deal, got financing only to find out the car was sold an hour earlier. Someone showed up in person and bought it with cash.
