I am definitely challenged by the animalic aspects of oud. That said, the idea of adding fruit to balance it out sounds appealing, and worth trying some of the smoother ones in your list! Thanks for this video, as always! ❤

I'm surprised Oud Maracuja is so high on this list, its a fantastic list and OM is my absolute favorite in my collection. Just a gorgeous scent with beastly performance, I consider it the crown jewel to my collection and will be getting a backup bottle when funds allow.
I think it’s one of the best examples of fruity Oud.. 😀
My favorite from my collection is Luxor Oud from Memo!
It has such a smooth mix of fruit and Oud

Ytzma is amazing, my favorite from Royal Crown, haven't tried Oudmazing sounds interesting, have you tried Montale's Infinity? Black Cherry, Plum, Saffron, Pink Pepper and Cardamom with Leather, Rose an Oud, very Montale, it's good. I loveThe Moon, Ombre Nomade and B683 EXTRAIT. Fantastic list, thank you Sebastian!!!

U should try Rialto by gritti. It’s another mango oud scent with a bit of saffron and some rose. Personally one of my favorites
I can’t wait to smell some of these. Hard to imagine better than Ombré Nomad, but this is the list I was looking for.

I love Oud and fruity combo so much. My favorites that I own are LV Ombré Nomade and The Moon by Frederic Malle. I do get rose from Ombré Nomade on my skin, not strong though, but I like it because it makes it more masculine.

A few weeks ago I tried oud Maracuja by Maison crivelli and I really liked it ! I have to get it! I also have the moon in my collection 😊!
These are 💯 my vibe. Ombre nomade yes, oudmazing yes, I've been hanging my nose over rouge chaotic for a while and now I know I want it for sure!

Passion fruit is an intoxicating fragrance. I'm going to have to find a sample of that Sugar Oud. I've sampled Ursa, and that is another I need.

Hey! There was a video from a few months back of animalic fragrances you covered (Xerjoff Kemi, Cacao Ritual, Golden Ambergris, etc.) it was really helpful! I can’t find it however, did it get removed?
A psycho store owner reported it for copyright infringement. I’m so pissed off I am going to make the decision to see if I can re-upload it or ask her to retract it. Which I already have and she hasn’t done anything about it yet. Really pissed off at her:
I absolutely loved Rouge Chaotique while testing it in store, and also for the first few minutes on skin.
But I wore a sample of it for an evening and after about thirty minutes the woody oud notes dissipated entirely and I was left smelling like someone poured a bottle of breakfast jam/jelly over my head. I wanted to like this one, but the drydown cheapens the experience, IMO, and the smell becomes very fruity/juvenile. This may appeal to some, but not me.
huh, interesting. I don't get that. It turns to woods and resins/amber in the dry down for me! :)
Man oh man. Please do a top 50 rose oud list. This list, your dressed up list from this week just showed me so many more. Oud satin mood extrait was my first one. Bought 15 after that. And then I smelled ombre nomad. Whew

It’s quite good. Soft and cozy!!
My favourite Oud fragrance though is White Oud from the Papaverum collection of Jardin de Parfums. It has pineapple at the top. The oud is hardly detectable. My kind of oud😅.

Oud is a fragrance note I don't care much for. I had generous samples of Oud Nude from my local Guerlain beauty store. Took me forever to get through them. Never got a full bottle
