Op7t screen looks clear and colours are more vibrant. I want to buy ROG2 but this seems a problem. Should i go with OP7t?

I don’t want to sound rude but I can say that about any tech and say it was garbage back in 2011-2013. Tech wasn’t even good back then We have a spike in advancements recently which is why stuff got cheaper and more powerful. phones can run games better than the previous console generations, you couldn’t say that back then. Tech changes every year for better or worse. So much more to say but you left them a big time gap to improve. All tech has improved and it’ll keep going until it’s so perfect and the specs are too high for our eyes to see. Phones getting upgrades a new generation of gaming consoles is coming, PC’s are upgrading like every month it seems. you can’t pin something that far back. If you said “I had a laptop from last year and it was garbage” I can understand that. but old tech is just that, Old. you should be looking at the New. Give Asus a chance, if they screw you again in this generation of tech then by all means “Fuck Them”. You have to know tech’s lifespan isn’t like a human. something amazing could come out next month and beat everything. then a month after that something else tops it.

As an Tencent edition user, the only difference is that it has an 8gb variant thatnis way cheaper than what is locally available. Then the back cover has a metal part unlike the global version which is mostly glass.
Yeah the camera setup is kinda dated and makes it just a gamers dream only. If the camera was upto spec like a current flagship then powerusers would buy this not for gaming but because it would be the most specced out smartphone on the planet ! i would buy it and i don't care about mobile gaming at all.
Nothing wrong with the cameras at all, I doubt you could tell the difference vs any other phone camera in real life. Whatever difference there may be 99% of everyone isn't good enough to worry about it. If you do you really shouldn't be using a smart phone for your photography anyway.

One optional feature is that if you draw a "C" on the screen while it is off, it automatically starts the camera app and snaps a picture. It's almost too fast because the picture is taken before I can even take my finger off the screen. The only drawbacks I can actually see are the lack of an optical zoom and maybe a macro lens which I wish more phones had.

E Man The port that he is referring to has two ports side-by-side. When plugging in the charging cord, be sure to plug it into the correct one. Which one is the correct one, I do not know that one since I do not have the phone in front of me… Yet ;-)

I need to confirm this but initial readings indicate this feature isn't available. The call quality difference is quite noticeable that I've just taken call quality for granted.
