Chien-Pao is probably my favorite Ruinous Pokémon design-wise. Snow leopards are already pretty cool (no pun intended), but I love how the broken sword and hilt serve as fangs to make it look like a saber tooth tiger.
I agree, I honestly think it and ceruledge are 2 of my favourite Pokémon now
It reminds me of an Asian snow dragon of sorts
I must say that these Ruin Legendaries are quite fascinating. I hope they get something like alternate forms or something to explain their lore a bit more.

They’ll probably get alternative forms , they’re giving incarnate forms vibes
I feel like if they're going to get anything, it'll be the ability to transform them in and out of their relic forms so they could be used as held items.

More like these are the Therian formes, then their alternate ones are the Incarnate.
@@timmyreobed5043 would be epic if them as items basically just give the respective ruin ability but replaces the mons current ability. Might buff some mons like slaking who lack good abilities.

They all look like they are wearing broken relics on their bodies

Actually, they ARE the broken relics. The animalistic bodies are manifestations of elements controlled by the relics.
Apparently the relics were empowered by the evil spirits of the past to create the Pokémon
mostly because they ARE the relics, the rest of their bodies are from the relics controlling their respective elements
They are based on four cursed artifacts in chinese mythology

I think they came from a Chinese Pokémon region and was traded in Paldea, and then they caused chaos in the region so the ancient people sealed them?

I like the designs of these pokemon atlot more than most in the game. Still not great tho.

Bad take. These designs are sick, the pokemon are super powerful, and honestly the battle theme is one of the better ones for a legendary group so far. These are some of the best new pokemon this gen
@@Alpha_beef I agree with you, but I think the encounters themselves are pretty underwhelming. Even just being able to enter the ruins as they reawaken would have been so much more interesting.
The fish design I can umderstand, but the others are pretty well designed.
I haven’t been keeping up with these new Pokémon, matter fact I haven’t even played Pokémon since I was a kid but I gotta say…if these are the legendary Pokémon of this era then the developers should be ashamed of themselves. I remember legendary Pokémon like Raikou, Mewtwo, and Moltres but this…well this generations legendaries look like trash. Sorry not sorry.
