I love the S1R. It's the best sounding exhaust for this bike. I took the silencer out of mine
Yeah. It's pretty sweet. I dont think mine came with a silencer. You can see right through the muffler. Ride safe brother. Thx for watching.
@@StreetRodAZ the silencer is the silver piece in the end. Unscrew the bolts in the tail cap and it pops right out

That sounds so nice, wow! Bought boots and a used Simpson Bandit helmet. Getting closer which reminds me of Nitzer ebb song getting closer. Pfizer shot scheduled for this Thursday, wait two weeks to take effect and then its shit or get off the pot. There's one used xsr700 for sale in Ontario with akra exhaust and might have to settle for the akra or get a new one.

I've been shopping for a new bike for about a year now and have watched a ton of exhaust vids. Xs700 with S1r def sounds the best from the options I'm looking at, hopefully not to loud and hope it's as fun as my old yamaha 60cc in my pic.

Clean the pipes with rubbing alcohol before start so avoid finger marks.

Dunno. I just installed what they sent. everything is tight.
So I see JJack's got the aluminum can. I got the carbon fiber. They could be slightly different dimensions.
@@StreetRodAZ Yeah could be slight change in dimensions along with the midpipe, but its still the best sounding exhaust in my opinion

I thought the o2 sensor had to be disconnected for the booster plug?
I'm in Philippines province, fitted kelpie shorty,no db killer,on my xsr700, now the pups are suck n
After watching hours of exhaust videos for the xsr700 im no longer in doubt of what im gonna get, it sounds just like i want :D Do you know if this will fit my xsr700 2016 model?

I cant seem to find a complete exhaust from ebay or amazon either.

How long did it take you overall to install it start to finish?
About an hour.
And it was just me. No help.

@@StreetRodAZ you weren’t kidding, super easy and fast to install. Took me a little longer as I fight a sinus infection here, but holy cow! The audio on all the sound clips on TH-cam don’t do this exhaust justice!!! Makes the bike sound absolutely amazing!

Do you not have to tune it or flash the ecu?
you do not. now if you also change your air filter, I highly recommend you do flash your ECU, or get a power commander.

No you don’t. And glass cleaner works just fine.
@@StreetRodAZ well you don't have to but it does help avoid stains in the metal as it bronzes. Also window cleaner should work but if I'm paying like $900 for an exhaust that's visible I'm not taking any chances lol
The stock exhaust on this bike is so awful. This exhaust and the Akropovic sound excellent though. Really let’s her personality come out.
Definitely. My two preferred exhaust makers.
