Can You Have A Good Result With Constrast Paint As A Beginner ? Warhammer Painting Tutorial

I wonder if Contrast Paint from Games Workshop are actually good for beginners in the way it send for to be used ?
So I took my new Flesh Eater Courts army and painted it as a beginner, maximum 2 hours a day with mostly only Contrast paint !

Any method that gets paint onto models and models onto the table is a good thing. Contrast paints are a fantastic way to for a beginner to get their miniatures looking good onto the table in a state they have nothing to be ashamed about.

I'm still a beginner and I love contrasts because they save me a lot of steps, they just need more work to not make it look like you just used contrasts. That being said, though, they don't always get quite the look that I'm looking for, and so some things it's just easier to paint with a regular paint. Things with a lot of depth and details are great for them, they were fantastic doing Seraphon, but right now I'm working on Tau and tried one to see how it looked, and it just didn't come out the way I wanted.

Yeah I agree. Pieces with too much armor or vehicles doesn't work so well with contrast

Overflow is a pain of smaller models. Big models not so much as a small mistake is much smaller on something so big

Yes and no, depends on the placement of the mistake. On a big piece that could be really visible if it's on a really important area
