@@briwuwas waiting until I saw the producer Rob Ruccia first so I could ask him about it :) He’s the one who has the raw stems He’ll be reaching out sometime soon to hand those over 🤘
You know, I found something pretty interesting about their making of that album when I saw it, the ironic mirroring to the late Lennon-McCartney dynamic with Andrew having an explosion of creativity like Paul while Rob was in a bit of a dispiriting slump like John. I almost wonder if there was some kind of vibe thing being in that place creating emotional echoes, or something like that.
I hope Rob and Andrew do an episode on what you did, this deserves recognition and I have a feeling it's just a matter of time before it goes viral. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! I would love for them to react to this or something but sadly I don't think that's the type of content they make. Both Rob and Andrew have commented on the other video of the full album so that is super cool!
Arghhhhh….Im a first generation Beatles fan and thanks to them I became a guitarist and vocalist…..also into recording. I started out on reel to reel and now use Logic Audio. This is a whole other thing. I’m undecided whether I like the future of music used this way. I’m sure John would have been amused. What I would say is create your own music like The Beatles did with your own vocals.
I think creating your own music in the style of the Beatles is awesome but if you've already done that I think it's a cool little experiment to see what it might sound like with the Beatles voices
Hi man, that was freaking awesome 👍😎. The Beatles and FOO were the ones that made me fell in love with music again, and hearing both of them at the same time it's magic. Also, i see a lot of non beatles songs sang by beatles with IA, but most of them are awful, yours definitely not!! Congratulations!! By the way, so glad you didn't put the original beatle stereo, it's much better this way (they know it and now they are remixing everything 😂😂)
One tiny nitpick! The effect George has on his vocals on Not Guilty and Blue Jay Way were done by feeding it through a Leslie speaker. Those speakers were designed to be used with Hammond organs to make them sound more like real organs but the Beatles were one of the first bands to use it with vocals. I think the first song they used it on was Tomorrow Never Knows. It’s not exactly the same sound as a phaser but there’s some great plugins that replicate it pretty much perfectly. Logic Pro has one built in. All in all it sounds really cool tho, love the idea and the video explaining how you did it is super interesting!
I do know it was a Leslie but I was just saying I was inspired by the sound of them not the exact technique used to create them. I also just wanted an example to compare to. I think a phaser is a good way to get a similar effect and it managed to get what I was going for. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I listened to the original album many times on repeat when it came out in October. Listening to it once again with The Beatles singing it was great. I love it when AI is used for good things. You did an outstanding job.
Very good stuff. The vocals on Dorian were especially superb. I noticed some comments were calling it disrespectful and whatever, because you "stole" their voices. As a young Beatles fan, a true Beatles fan appreciates creativity. Anyway, can't wait for more stuff, keep it up buddy 👍
You said it's not perfect. You're right. Is it entertaining? Oh hell yeah it is. It's clearly a labour of love and that shines through. Thank you for this ❤️
