do you know why my z-axis does not lower back down before prints? :( when the print is about to start the extruder head lifts up around 15mm ( i guess to avoid scratching/ hitting the hot bed) however it does not lower back down, and prints start in the air causing a lot of errors lol :( am i missing some gcode to send the extruder head back down to the bed? could you please send your guidance as i am new to 3D printing
So your saying when you home all and did the paper test its all good but when you wanna print its messing up? If thats the case then its 100% a gcode issue... Mainly Your START GCODE is whats causing that I had the same issue early on.. But just create a ANET a8 profile in CURA and it will save those start and end codes... Sry Aj this is the only anet mod I cant give away for free. The only organic models I will part with for free are things I couldnt sell for license reasons
I mean If this wasnt the internet and I knew you just wanted it for yourself I wouldnt care. but the other thing is once you put it on thingiverse its gone for good lol. P.S. ill give you the cable link np its just the dragon that is a bit of conflict of interest

I made it when I was in my upgrade phase when I first got the printer lol.
since then there's 3 new anet models out , they just dropped the anet E14
