Negligent Discharge vs. Accidental Discharge

  • This is a re-post of a video, I don't know what happened with the first one but it ended up with a whole bunch of cut-scenes that I didn't mean to put in there!

    I'm very aware of firearms and safety rules. I was trained by the Marine Corps. I owe a striker fired weapon; M&P 2.0. This is my home defense and self defense firearm therefore I always have one in the pipe. I retrieved my firearm (holstered) while at home; gonna do some dry fire drills. I followed all of the safety protocols yet when I took the firearm out of it's holster my index finger slipped into the trigger guard and fired a round. I understand where you're coming from in terms of negligence. In my opinion this was accidental.
    What's your opinion?

      I'd still call it an ND cause your finger was on the trigger, despite not meaning too
