Hello Anna. This topic has been on my mind for quite some time.I understand that there are people on You Tube that are collectors. I also understand the learning curve, and the pursuit of decks that resonate with one’s self.I respect those things. When decks were a little less pricey, and I would purchase a deck without watching a full walk through, only to find that they were god awful…..well? Some I tossed. I couldn’t see myself gifting, selling, or using them. I learned an important lesson. Ask myself some questions before purchasing a deck. Did I do a little research on the deck? Will I use it, and how? Am I willing to learn a different system? How will I incorporate it into my practice? I now have a very small collection of decks I use, some from different systems or ideologies. And those purchases are so much more rewarding, for many reasons. The number one reason…… How I use them, and use them, I do! Once again, great topic Anna. Thanks so much!🦉

You are not alone, sister. I took care of my beloved mother on my own for nearly 7 years who developed vascular dementia after a mini stroke and heart attack. She died at the end of 2020. Be patient with yourself as you journey through mental and physical healing. It is a trauma. Especially with Covid. Fantastic video, Anna! So many nuggets to chew on (your words about people-pleasing made me scream internally in agreement/realization)! I really enjoy Aidan Wachter's books, I'm currently reading Orion Foxwood's book "The Flame in the Cauldron" and his work puts me in a similar headspace when considering my practice. I feel at this point I'm in a Seven of Coins space... at a point of pivot where I assess where I'm at but not for too long, and see what needs to be altered and refined, putting those things in place for the next stage of work. Oooh such a great video, with a storm as well. Serving drama. I got a strong libra archetype vibe going with the first 3 cards drawn, whereby the eternal challenge is attaining balance of self and other and not masking until lost to self. Manipulation is in there also , along with that "love me, I'm no danger to you. Until I am" vibe. Political characters a rife with it. I digress. My point that made me pause the video was of also people pleasing as a trauma response. Or a survival technique. "Fawn" as in flight flight or fawn, anxiety has us thinking that other is as bad as a saber tooth tiger. If other is happy, laughing, then I am safe. Masking, people pleasing, submerging self into a soul mate theory... hmmm. Coincidence that last night with red wine I pulled some cards on this very subject. There are no coincidences. 😉 not ready to give up queen of wands.... oh wait people pleasing? Yeah I get it! 😂 You know Anna, I was only saying a few weeks ago how people open a box and twenty minutes later have profoundly connected to it. I have done a couple of reviews but had to work and use the deck before I could say if I liked it or not. Doing card pulls for friends and family no particular spreads buts let's see what intuition brings. These are great questions. I wish that the responses to this video come through with zest. It will be fun to watch. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead, until next time 🙏💜🙏
I’m so glad that I opened this video. It is profound. I love the way you unpacked the card meanings as they relate to the questions. I’ve written out all of your questions in my journal for my next three or four days Daily Draws. I hope I can find a book with equally probing questions as the one you use here. Presently, I am reading Lane Smith’s book 78 Acts of Liberation and loving it. This book may throw up some profound questions to ask. We’ll see. Also, I no longer watch videos for new deck flip-throughs and previews. For a start, they have blown out in time for an hour or more. These days, I am working with the decks I own and am much happier to not spend more money on decks that I may never use. I’m not really a deck collector although I’ve fallen into that addiction. Please add more #smhyp videos. I’m hungry for more. Also, I hope your flight went well and you enjoyed your trip. 😃
Thank you so much, this means a lot! I've done a fun Live that's #smhyp and a second vid is out for #smhyp as well, more to come. However, so much of my channel is SMHYP! So enjoy! ;)
Ania, it was a great movie. Great title and implementation. I'm also tired of watching reviews and trying not to buy another deck. It's frustrating. But I wanted to practice tarot, not just collect it. I am interested in self-knowledge and self-development, working with the shadow, transforming negative patterns into positive development. Tarot seems perfect to me for this. But how to do it in a consistent, methodical way? I'm not talking about any psychological speculations, but about real work. Maybe you have such experiences and would like to share it? For example, some kind of shadow practice series? Or self-discovery? Best regards to you and everyone on your channel.
Thanks for this video Anna, enjoyed that you shared the storm with us :) love Aidan Wachter's writing approach in the green books too, but all those prompts at the end of a number of sections in Changeling did not always prompt me, obviously I did not have a tarot deck in hand! Nice to see you do this.
Any excuse to use Tarot 😉 No, I actually think these are simply good questions for self knowledge. Therefore, can’t NOT be good questions for the cards
Wow, the sound and image of the storm is so soothing. It seems that it's not only the Isle of Beauty baut also the Isle of the Sublime... Power of elements...Thank you for opening to the deep levels of tarot (as usual), the questions are inspiring journaling definetley and an In-depth encounter with the pulled card. Love this! ❤️🔥

Loved it. These are exactly the kind of questions I ask myself on my own all the time. I like to go deep. Changeling looks like a good book. I stood in my dark kitchen at 5:00 a.m. this morning and enjoyed your storm. Beautiful, thank you
I really appreciate that you described how you watched the video 😊 sounds cozy. All of Aidan’s work I’ve read is full of really cool approaches to magick
I've never thought to use the journaling prompts in Changeling (or any other book) for tarot readings/spreads, what a great idea! I have read for characters in films or books though, which is always a fun practice. Also, you talked about the Queen of Wands in some ways I had never considered before, and given that it's the card I wish to embody, your comments gave me some food for thought. Really enjoyed this video Anna! x (That storm looked epic by the way).
This was really great! That second card might also be speaking about defining yourself through others and how they see you instead of by your own data. Great stuff!
I love this idea of show me how you practice - so much more value than seeing yet another deck…although I do love pretty decks 😆 But you sold me at “also by reading novels. That’s what reading does.” That’s also exactly a technique I use for practice - deck in hand while reading, and something comes up in my mind, or I simply what to see how my cards - which ones - will reflect the events and emotions I’m reading about. I do it watching movies, reading, even while researching anything on the internet. I’ve lots of curiosity about lots of things, and having the cards weigh in on a topic has led to some wonderful ‘readings’. Back in January, I even had a knight of pentacles tell me all about Italy’s current and ongoing volcanic issues. I think this kind of practice opens our minds and opens up the cards in exciting and meaningful ways - and I’m so excited to find someone else who does it! Definitely adding the channel to my watch often list! Ty!

I have done a couple of reviews but had to work and use the deck before I could say if I liked it or not. Doing card pulls for friends and family no particular spreads buts let's see what intuition brings.
These are great questions. I wish that the responses to this video come through with zest. It will be fun to watch.
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead, until next time 🙏💜🙏
@@ClairtT4040 Haha 😉 Let’s see what happens! Thanks Clair
So enjoy! ;)
Very insightsfull totaly different from the mainstream tarottube maybe a new trend. Lets hope so🙏🏼
;) Let's see what the tag does!
@@imka7740 I will think about this question! How to show this, how to share? 🙏🏼
Loved the video. Yesssss more please.
Thank you. Will make more 😊
Wow, the sound and image of the storm is so soothing. It seems that it's not only the Isle of Beauty baut also the Isle of the Sublime... Power of elements...Thank you for opening to the deep levels of tarot (as usual), the questions are inspiring journaling definetley and an In-depth encounter with the pulled card. Love this! ❤️🔥
Thank you, I’m happy you enjoyed it and it means a lot to read these cool comments. Power of the elements, can’t deny that! The sky exploded and unleashed BUCKETS 😅
@@AstralLadyTarot It's nice and important to share thoughts and feelings about a mostly solitary craft. Inspiration is circulating and the craft becomes a kind bond between "crafters" and your work enhances it. So: thank you for your videos! ✨💜
@@CefiLeaubeI shared this comment on instagram, it was too good 😊

I love this so much, I feel like I’ve been doing so many deck videos lately but this is the stuff that makes my heart full and brain spark, thank you for the prompt. I hope you had a fabulous trip and thank you for sharing that gorgeous rain storm with us.
Wasn’t it MASSIVE?! Glad it translated to the small screen. I do like deck videos from time to time, especially when the qualities of the decks are being discussed. It was a wonderful summer and I hope you’ll join in on the tag if you want to 🙏🏼
@@AstralLadyTarot yeah I’m really inspired and excited to join in!
@@SaplingTarotCan’t wait🎉
As soon as I saw your title I knew this would be a great video! Thank you for this. I love a good walkthrough but yes to this - how are we practicing/working with them. This community is such a wealth of talent. Loved the storm as well - O~
I also enjoy a good deck discussion for sure! It’s, after all, part of the practice. That storm was so impressively big😮
Pausing, to say thank you, Anna, I love this video already so much!!! Watching the rest now.
@@khan7459 Thank you! ✨✨
@@AstralLadyTarot Wow, now the video got even better!
Have a good trip back to Amsterdam, no storms, no delays etc.
So iconic for sure, thank you for this 💫
@@sulemarubio8596 😉 Thanks for watching and commenting
I've never thought to use the journaling prompts in Changeling (or any other book) for tarot readings/spreads, what a great idea!
I have read for characters in films or books though, which is always a fun practice.
Also, you talked about the Queen of Wands in some ways I had never considered before, and given that it's the card I wish to embody, your comments gave me some food for thought.
Really enjoyed this video Anna! x
(That storm looked epic by the way).
It was so epic 😅 Reading for fictional characters can be such a good practice. You’re giving me ideas, Kelly Bear
This was really great! That second card might also be speaking about defining yourself through others and how they see you instead of by your own data. Great stuff!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love this idea of show me how you practice - so much more value than seeing yet another deck…although I do love pretty decks 😆
But you sold me at “also by reading novels. That’s what reading does.”
That’s also exactly a technique I use for practice - deck in hand while reading, and something comes up in my mind, or I simply what to see how my cards - which ones - will reflect the events and emotions I’m reading about.
Ty!
Awesome, I loved hearing that! I do that too: love having Tarot ready for these things
I love how your content inspires (and reminds) me to slow down, dig deeper and enjoy.
Love that! I also enjoy straight to the point spiritual moments, but there’s nothing like… taking the time 😉
You're pretty awesome...I mean pretty and awesome
Hi Anna! I loved watching this video and also want to see more! From you and others.
For the tag are the questions you answered in this video the questions for this tag or do we just show how we personally do things in general?
Hey! Well, it's actually a good idea to answer the same questions but that's only if you want to. So far the VRs have been simply people showing how they practice, sharing some good ideas and techniques to use to deepen the Tarot practice. Hope you have fun with it!
@AstralLadyTarot I tried looking for the other videos to yours but didn't find them. I clicked the tag but it says there's nothing to show lol.
@@AstariaSen You really have to put the hashtag before it, and one person did #showmehowyoupractice Either way all the VRs I'm aware of are on a playlist on my channel
❤

Hi Anna! I liked these questions as well as your thoughtful answers. Looking forward to see more of the series. You were good company in this video. I appreciate your rawness and vulnerability answering those types of questions. I don't know what to write in these comments sometimes, but just trying to say, I could relate. This is tarot shining bright. My fav video on tarot tube for a while.
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to write in the comment section, and such a nice message as well. There’s more coming, and perhaps (you never know) other creators will use the hashtag as well
Most of my videos revolve around my practice

I did this video yesterday before I came across yours. Many of my other tarot videos are me addressing questions I've found throughout social media. I try to keep them rather general so the reading can apply to many people, in some way. I'm going to use that tag in the next video I do on TH-cam. I do daily pulls on facebook. They are much shorter, so no reason to upload them on this platform. m.th-cam.com/video/MmiJP_u5sWg/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUISSBvbW5pc3Q%3D

Is that a book you love?
To be strong means to be relied upon. It is not the case that anyone I approach owes me anything. It is the case that I owe everything to a person that approaches me... That's to be strong.
I'm counting in-breaths. :)
I think to be truthful I don't myself hold the right of Life over anyone else, since no one claims to hold that over me. Hope I'm clear ;)
❤Thanks Anna. Great questions!
The Queen of wands is very independant...she is the childless huntress Artemis in the deck I'm currently using. Hm, are you interested in having children? I wonder if she might be pointing you in the direction of family.
Have a safe flight!💫
I'm happy being the childless archer🌚
some astrologers and tarot interpreters have new media contracts. left the doctor's room.

What can you let go of now that you needed in the past? GREAT QUESTION! How about the need to always be strong or the need to always hold it together. And yes, so many layers to each and every card ❤
What takes up space in your life that does more harm than good? Yes, tough question! Love these reflections Anna. Random question, do you have any connection to the Elburg Museum?
@@IntegrativeHealingwithSadhana Hi Sadhana, those were good questions! There’s a big chance I went there once, but no particular connections. Why, is there something Tarot related you’ve seen there?
@@AstralLadyTarot no, but I had a random person reach out from there
