    There's only two kinds of EH owners: The ones that have replaced at least one stator, and the ones that will need to replace theirs!

      Dennis Bennet, replaced his first and only one around 30000. Some sort of miracle. Replaced his factory battery after that about a year or so. I think it was 2018 and 19. Unheard of..

      @@brucewhitefoot Wow! I've replaced the stator on 901 once (she's got 36K on her now) and twice on 741 (she's got 28K on her). I did a little experimenting with other stators and found that certain Japanese bikes used one of almost the same dimensions (slightly narrower, but worked). I ran that one in 741 for about a year or so. I eventually replaced it with the correct EH unit, but it was a good experiment. I could never get the opening where the wire came out of the primary to stop leaking, no matter how much RTV I put on it, LOL! I was glad to put the factory type stator back in it.
