Its great to see Dad out helping I lost my Dad on August 5 1995 man I miss him I would pickup old boat motors at garage sales he would hav them running at the end of that same day man he was good with motors he did the same thing got it running then it stopped we look at everything then I said dad does it need gas he opened it up no gas we laughed for ever great memories
Morning40! Another good wood score! You can’t beat oak that’s close to the house and free. Good to see Senior and little Boss man! You have so many rounds to split you might have to start selling it to JPF!!😂 B 🆒
Watching that brought back many fond memories of me and my father working together for years. He is 91 now and not able to do that kind of work, but the memories are still there!
Father and Son and grant Son ! the best team work in town's ( A lots of good souvenir and great works )👍👍👍😊 Great sexy music Sir 👍😊 Now that is a great chainsaw !!! 😊👍 CHeers !!!
Hey there Shifty, always great when you have a Guest Star, especially Wood Hound Senior... He’s quickly becoming one of my favorites👍🏼💪🏼🪓🦅🇺🇸. Blessings to the whole Wood Hound Family!
Thanks Mr. Surgeon of the Saw....he's got a shout out coming your way in the next video. When you say 'becoming ONE of my favorites' I'm assuming you mean the top spot is still held by yours truly! Hahahahahahahaha 😆 😜 😆 😀 👍 🍻
Great video! Making memories with Dad. Some nice firewood there. Gotta get more merchandise like those tumblers . I’m gonna be splitting a little oak today , the rounds are huge. Plan on being done by noon in this heat. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Yes it's always a fun time out making wood...even tho that day it did turn hot & sticky, ugh. Hope ya got a good amount split up before the heat set in...we had a bit of a breeze today to keep things a little cooler.👍 😀 🍻
That 051 is running to rich it could run alot faster. Mayby governor or ignition adjustment aswell. I love That 051 its like a motorcycle that cuts wood 😂
Wow I have been watching this channel now a year. The last time you were here I subscribe.. I didn't even think its been this long but cool to see both saws chewing thru wood.
I love the sound of your dad's saw and I think it may even ran better. I had a large branch fall on my wood stack on Sunday. I must have built it right because it didn't move.
My dad loved old boat motors I bought a pretty big one it was real heavy we put it in a 55 gallon barrel he pulled on the rip cord he left it on full throttle man when it started it was like I just got out of a shower head to toe soaked he couldn't stop laughing to this day I still think he did it on purpose lol lol lol
lol...that ole gal is in pretty good shape for her age, just a bit on the heavy side...hahaha. If the 291 is still running that good 20 years from now I won't mind. 😀 👍 🍻
HAY ( D ) GREAT VIDEO... I WAS ABOUT TO CALL DEPUTY DOG CAUSE I THOUGHT YOU WOOD HOUNDS WAS A PILFERIN... NAW ITS ALL GOOD YOU A'NT PILFERIN... It’s all about chain speed. But that ol horse will probably out last 3 of these new gen saws! [edit]...WAIT,WAIT,WAIT...is SR still running that old chain he showed us that was new in ‘77 and looked like a necklace? Get him a new chain and that new Stihl will be left in the dust!
Watching you and Woodhound Senior riding out to the site on Khaleesi is what it is all about. Father and son working together. Have a great day and as usual another top notch video.
Shifty I hope you fixed or bought lunch cause your pop kicked your 🤬. Then you cheated and raced again and took the small side of the log. Senior at least should get a shirt. I hope senior doesn’t tell your mom. Lol stay cool
LOL....what?!? Small side...that was closer to the base so it was getting bigger.....hahahahaha.....it did break off near the bottom so that may have been a bit to my benefit....shhhh. 👍 😀 🍻
Two great saws, but more importantly, father and son having a great time together! Good stuff!
Enjoy every min with your dad . I sure miss mine .

It was a good afternoon, only thing is the heat & humidity climbed up later in the day.
Great video! Making memories with Dad. Some nice firewood there. Gotta get more merchandise like those tumblers . I’m gonna be splitting a little oak today , the rounds are huge. Plan on being done by noon in this heat. Thanks for sharing!

Wow I have been watching this channel now a year. The last time you were here I subscribe.. I didn't even think its been this long but cool to see both saws chewing thru wood.
The year sure has flown by...lol...it was nice to have that extra saw running & bucking up that tree....made fairly quick work of it. 👍 😀 🍻
Bruce! Some great clips racing the saws.
I love the sound of your dad's saw and I think it may even ran better. I had a large branch fall on my wood stack on Sunday. I must have built it right because it didn't move.
Kevin, your are right , that carb should be overhauled thanks the SR.
Great video
I did that thousands of times, prime the carb with a dry tank lol
My dad loved old boat motors I bought a pretty big one it was real heavy we put it in a 55 gallon barrel he pulled on the rip cord he left it on full throttle man when it started it was like I just got out of a shower head to toe soaked he couldn't stop laughing to this day I still think he did it on purpose lol lol lol
Nice work..that ol girl of a saw moves right along. Wonder what the cord count is on her ? Thanks for the Tues. morn. Take off bud. See ya’all again👍
Ohh that saw has seen MANY cords of wood...lol
The 51 looks violent, your arms must hurt after a day with it! :D
the call sign is av. o51. so a=antivibration its a bucking saw.I rest on the log that helps. the SR.
Yeah it's not a saw to use for limbing...lol....you can just set it on the log and the weight of itself will push it thru cutting. 👍 😀 🍻
Do like the Old saws, had a 051, loaned it out and never got her back
This might be my all time favorite posting on woodhounds . Thanks Harry
The 51 is like fine gold sad that you lost it. the SR.
I've heard of that happening before to people, guess that means whoever borrowed it had a good time & it ran good...👍 😀 🍻
By the looks of Woodhound Senior 30 year old saw you’ll still be using your MS291 in 2049.
lol...that ole gal is in pretty good shape for her age, just a bit on the heavy side...hahaha. If the 291 is still running that good 20 years from now I won't mind. 😀 👍 🍻
051 is music . i have one i still use
Can you please tell me what music is used for the intro? Huge thanks
HAY ( D ) GREAT VIDEO... I WAS ABOUT TO CALL DEPUTY DOG CAUSE I THOUGHT YOU WOOD HOUNDS WAS A PILFERIN... NAW ITS ALL GOOD YOU A'NT PILFERIN... Great video wood hounds thank you! I was curious how old is wood Hound seniors saw the 051?
Thanks!...I believe the 051 was new in '84.
Thank you! That thing has still got some juice! Getting the job done! Best wishes to you and all of your family
cutting one handed at 8.05 in !!!!!???
It’s all about chain speed. But that ol horse will probably out last 3 of these new gen saws! [edit]...WAIT,WAIT,WAIT...is SR still running that old chain he showed us that was new in ‘77 and looked like a necklace? Get him a new chain and that new Stihl will be left in the dust!
Garny, that is anew chain on the 51 .it has not cut much but got a good work out , now remember the 51 was new in1984.
How about stihl law, no gas, no run
Good example of how not to cut up a tree. Can't believe nobody went to the er.
Watching you and Woodhound Senior riding out to the site on Khaleesi is what it is all about. Father and son working together. Have a great day and as usual another top notch video.
And that neighbor has a long driveway thru some big pine trees...really a nice ride...👍 😀 🍻
Shifty I hope you fixed or bought lunch cause your pop kicked your 🤬. Then you cheated and raced again and took the small side of the log. Senior at least should get a shirt. I hope senior doesn’t tell your mom. Lol stay cool
