In the seasons 2 and 3 opening theme, before they show Gilligan and The Skipper, there us a shot if somebody preparing the boat for the trip, who looks to be The Professor.
When the series suddenly ended, it ended so abruptly, that many people were left wondering whether or not they ever got rescued, and maybe missed the episode in which they were rescued. In the episode where the Hunter was hunting Gilligan, and promised to rescue them if Gilligan could outrun him for 24 hours, that episode being in the final season, maybe they should have made that episode the series finale, where the Hunter never did hunt down Gilligan, and really did have them rescued, and they returned to Hawaii to a warm homecoming, complete with barbecues, and the food that the Skipper was dreaming of having. About The Ballad of Gilligan's Isle, during the show's original run, many thought that it was Bob Denver, aka Gilligan, who sang it for season 1, and Alan Hale, aka The Skipper, who sang it for Seasons 1 and 2. During it's original run in season 3, during the storm in the opening ballad, you could hear a fierce wind blowing, but not on the DVD release.
They were rescued in a 1978 TV movie and shortly after that they came back to the island and claimed ownership of it and opened a tourist resort (among their paid guests was the Globetrotters).
You made a mistake with Alan Hale Jr. You had a picture of his father as an older man.
They do that for more comments. It helps their algorithm.
Denny Miller, Larry Storch, Strother Martin, Eddie Little Sky, Roman Gabriel, Nehemiah Persoff, Harold J. Stone, Henny Backus.
Vito Scotti, John McGiver, Rory Calhoun, Don Rickles and Zsa Zsa Gabor.
I think that you only listed one actor who is still alive.
So many non-castaways landed on the island and took off without having the castaways rescued.
What happen to them? The original cast have all passed away except for Tina Louise,( Ginger Grant)

This is just Lame! When so many died some several decades ago!
One of the stupidest if not the stupidest shows ever aired
It irritated me to no end. I never understood its popularity. And The Beverly Hillbillies also. I'd rather watch paint dry than these shows.
