Wow! Some died young and some have enjoyed longevity. This is my favourite film of all time and it inspired me to join the British Military. I was 12 when I saw this and it was a treat outing in those days from my Dad.... I wanted to do everything I saw in the film... I served in and for the Defence and Security industry for 43 years but unfortunately I never had the opportunity to send a message that started with "Broadsword calling Danny boy"... The rest? As near as damn it! Even following Clint Eastwood on to the Eiger North Face 😁😁🪂⛷️🧗🏊
One of the greatest war movies ever made. The highlight is when the girl talks to the SS officer about The Cathedral in Düsseldorf, and he says in the thickest German accent you`ll EVER hear : " Sats funny.......I sought Se Casedral was one se other side of se square "..........it`s absolutely hilarious........😁
Anyone who worries about Artificial Intelligence taking over the world need only watch this channel. Or did Clint Eastwood really play two parts in this movie and under two different names?
An absurd war movies where Allies killed so many Germans so easily. If WW2 was fought that way the war would have been over in a few weeks! Wonder what Burton made him star in this ridiculous comedy?😜😛😋
Thanks for the video and bless all those fine actors, both those who are still with us and those who are not.
Hi, I must have viewed this movie hundreds of time, yet ever time it is showed on TV I watch it again!!!!!!👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Why do you have Clint Eastwood picture as Williams Squire?
Thanks for the video but I believe the "THEN" photo for William Squire at 2:02 is actually Clint Eastwood.
I'm sure now that they put these mistakes in every time just to wind viewers up, nobody could get it wrong every time surely 😆

大好きな戦争サスペンスアクション映画の1本なんですがやはり故人の方が多いですね~😮😢
Carnaby was actually played by Robert Beaty!
Or Cartwright Jones
So full of mistakes.

Really????? 😜😛😝
there is confusion about william squire!?
……Ferdy Mayne was in film, ‘Ben-Hur’. He played the soldier who gave Quintus Arrius water when he was rescued…………
……Vincent Ball was an Aussie actor, & is 101 yo now………
Why Clint Eastwood for William Squire ????😢😢😢
I think several of the actors themselves had participated in World War 2

I thought it was 69 it came out. 😊
Clint Eastwood's name was not mentioned and forgotten in the movie!
Odd. I have the movie and his name is clearly showing in the credits.
Open your eyes.
When did Robert Beatty change his name to William Squire? Who writes this crap?
