I sent in a redemption from a Prizm undercard box of Anderson Silva, about 6 or 7 weeks ago. Today in the mail I received, instead a replacement package from Panini which included a Matt Brown of the same auto set the Silva is supposed to be, and a 2022 Chronicles Origins, non numbered, Derek Lewis auto…
First off I didn’t ask for a replacement card and couldn’t have until after 120 days after the redemption was claimed. Secondly, I felt more than Paninied, when I received almost half the comped value of a non claimed redemption. To get those 2 fighters over a top 5 ever fighter to fight in the ufc, was insulting and shows how little they care to right their wrong’s.
It’s sad to see a company get away with business ethics and practices like this, especially when they have manipulative practices upon an over valued market in the first place. The same reason that Panini spread concerns that Fanatics could do, if they are allowed to obtain the licensing of the top 3 organizations of the card market in a counter suit against Fanatics. Of coarse, my Anderson Silva, is small potatoes in their billion dollar industry, but then again, it wasn’t me that promised to give myself an Anderson Silva in the future and include it in the cards that could potentially be pulled. It’s theft and it’s illegal. At least they could’ve included a small bottle of KY to soften their blows…
That is beyond brutal. I requested a replacement for my Adesanya auto out of donruss 6 months ago and haven’t received anything. I will never redeem a redemption again.
