guys i absolutely loved this album but i loved it 1000x more on second listen and i feel like just vibing to it instead of reading the lyrics contributed to that. so should i listen to travis scott’s music without lyrics in the future?? pls and thank you
Houstonfornication is one of the most underrated Travis Scott songs and hands down my favourite on Astroworld. Has been since it came out. That vibe is just so perfect and unmatched.
As a Houston native, I can provide some info on AstroWorld. It was a Six Flags Park in Houston in the 60s, that was shut down in 2005 because it wasn't making enough profit. However, everyone from my side of town loved the park. I remember going as a kid, but was never able to ride any of the rides. Despite that, I still had one of the best days of my life. I'm so glad that Travis decided to name his album this, because it brought back so many fond memories for me. And this album is now just a classic every time I listen to it. The sound encapsulates "Houston".
25:28 Kanye wrote Trav’s first verse. Originally Skeletons was a Kanye song, and Trav’s first verse was actually Kanye’s second verse on his version of the song, while he himself had an entirely different first verse. Parts of Ye’s first verse ended up turning into Cudi Montage, while Trav took Kanye’s second verse as his first verse on this version of Skeletons. This wasn’t confirmed until last year, when the Ye version of Skeletons leaked in full
Man, the way you convey and explain every important detail and your wife's comments showing that she is listening attentively are very valuable. Wish you guyz best
I appreciate your wife's ear for the creative side of the music especially the production side. Keep the reactions coming guys I love the tact you guys also play the whole song before making judgement instead of continuous pausing/playing
incredible channel, 20:56 when she said it was profound both you and I were hanging on every word until the realization it was a joke, lmaoooo love it guys keep it up!
This album is so nostalgic to me. I had just graduated high school and I was so unsure of my future or “life after hs” I felt old and grown but looking back I was just a child. I remember exactly when I heard this album for the first time. What a time, I can’t believe it’s been 6 years
Lets gooo been waiting for this reaction!! Glad she noticed the different variety of song moods and the features on most tracks. Might be the best reaction on this channel cuz there were even some surprises for Archie 😂😂 Can’t wait for TFS
discovering don toliver was one of the highlights of the album, i also got to see travis live the year this came out so while overall i like more songs on birds and rodeo this one will always be special
As an oldhead who thought rap needed clever or thoughtful lyrics to be good... This album was a revelation, and I mean that as the biggest compliment. I think what Travis does with production in pursuit of "creating a vibe" is beyond incredible. Some of the moments in this album are actual bliss.
i think molly would love heroes and villains by metro boomin, i had to check to see if you guys had already done it because of how perfect it seems for her
Y’all gotta review Savage Mode 2 by 21 Savage & Metro Boomin! That’s their best album, you guys will love how cinematic it is! Keep up the fun reviews! 😌🔥🙌🏾
If you like darker sound Travis, please, for the love of God (and fans), listen to Days Before Rodeo, and if you need more listen to Owl Pharaoh, you will be surprised how Travis sounded way before he hit mainstream and found a more 'family friendly' sound, both of those projects are mixtapes so you wouldn't have issues with copyright, you will find them both on TH-cam or Soundcloud
Would love to see you guys react to JID - The Forever Story. Such a unique album at a time when a lot of hip-hop sounds the same. Plus, if you like Kendrick then you'd probably like JID
def need Juice WRLD lol Legends Never Die is his best sounding production wise (seems like you guys really appreciate good production) there is many songs on the album that he had intentions of releasing on his album he was planning on dropping called "Outsiders" before his death. such as Conversations, Titanic, Bad Energy, Righteous, Tell Me U Luv Me and a few more. but Death Race For Love is most fans favorite. Goodbye 7 GoodRiddence also is the album that made him a superstar (Lucid Dreams, All Girls Are The Same, Lean With Me, Black & White) so can't go wrong with that either lol. great reaction as always guys!!!
speaking of 21 savage I personally love his album without warning its such fun album to listen too. Him and metro when they work together they make great songs.
guys i absolutely loved this album but i loved it 1000x more on second listen and i feel like just vibing to it instead of reading the lyrics contributed to that. so should i listen to travis scott’s music without lyrics in the future?? pls and thank you

Or do similar to what @bobthepoppop does in his reactions, give a raw first listen and then check out the lyrics.
Yes please when u guys get to utopia if u just let the sound absorb you you fall in love with that album.

genuinely such a good album. travis hasn’t missed once

The production quality on this album is impeccable 🙏🏾
Molly has an immaculate ear
5 Seconds into skeletons she can hear the Kevin Parker influence 👏
Not just influence, but Kevin Parker himself is on the track.
22:58 “sounds like tame impala” well it really was him
thanks for reminding me how great this album is
Props to her for saying skeletons sounds like tame impala seeing that Kevin produced it. 🤟

What an album, COFFEE BEAN isn’t talked about enough though.
I would LOVE for you two to do Death Race for Love. It’s his best album in my opnion. I hope you both like it! :)
