Just to clarify something, the person having a trial in the flashback is not the child predator. The child predator's name was Choi Yoon-Jae, Seung-Jae is someone else who Sang-Wook was just remembering at the moment. Also, I think you may have misunderstood it but Sang-Wook brought the bodies in; you can see him walking back weirdly and shoving them through the opening after using Yoon-Jae's corpse as bait for the tongue monster.
A lot of reactors are confused by "Golden Hour" because it's a needless translation. If you listen to the characters, they're actually saying "Golden Time" in English. So it's not a specific hour, it's a period of time.
Absolutely agree with y’all. After seeing the pictures of the little kids, that man had to go. He was already a monster
So I’ll try to explain somethings. Korean culture is based kinda on a hierarchy. The rich or CEO type tend to have power. But also there’s the aspect of not staring and not interfering if it’s not your business, which explains the abusive husband. Once you watch more Korean shows/movies, you’ll see a pattern. All about power, honor, and/or prestige. The backstory between the thug and the creeper will be answered next episode.
Now in terms of the monsters, this was my observation when I watched the show. The despair and desire go hand in hand. People who are sad, depressed, some kind of negativity or I suppose mentally unbalanced get infected and what they turn into is based on what they desire. The woman in the red dress at the beginning was under stress from the auditions and upset with her family but was also starving herself to try and be as appealing in those auditions. Her desire to eat changed her into a creature that was constantly hungry. Big giant monster that always said protein was probably some body builder who was obsessed with getting bigger and bigger muscles and that changed him. The main guy was infected because he was depressed and suicidal. When he was hallucinating, the monster side asked what he wanted. And at first it was the flashback of him saying for everyone to die. But right when he was about to change into a monster he heard the kids. In that moment he remembered that those kids are depending on him. So his desire changed to helping the kids, saving the kids. Once you see the pattern, you can make guesses on who could possibly be next.

Never knew it would be so satisfying watching someone getting killed in a movie or show until Sweet Home. 😅In a world where justice existed but didn’t do what it was intended to do…and then the world became what it is and he was still living without consequences to his actions made this one of my favourite episodes

yeah, i think the curse is like a corruption of what people want. the first one seen (the one with the cat) was talking about not eating that much and her monster was always hungry, the guard became a monster and he had super hearing and can stretch his arms to grab people. and maybe the mc's curse is healing? bc he wanted to die
as u guys told its about their will i think its like what they wanted before becoming demon and the their wish came as becoming demon -_- like the women with kids her child was killed in accident she wanted child so i think she became demon child xD

When they were talking about desire, they basically are saying that if you have a desire then you'll turn into a monster depending on what you're desire is. so let's say you wanted to be very strong and that's you're desire than you'll turn to a monster that's really strong

That scene just reminded me again that SK's law is so fcked up. A man who r**ed an 8 year old girl so bad (won't go into details) only got 12 years of prison and the reasoning was because he was 'too drunk' to know what he was doing then when he got out of prison he was even allowed to live in the same neighborhood where the girl still resides 😒 There are so many other worse cases that even gets turned into films by to get more public attention and to make a change in their laws but it's still really bad...
