Ice been a mopar guy for some time, and with the new ram coming out ive been on the fence -love the cross hair grill- but after this vid; im more in love with this truck then ever. Beautiful; beautiful ram.

Stepped up options on BigHorn ALOT! My 2014 was very nice equipped, but they got better.
This would suit me expect color. I like the blue BH with body colored trim they had shown before

The only difference between this truck and mine is I don’t have the sunroof, there are usb and usb-c in the rear center console between the air vents, I have the spray in bed liner and the cargo lights, lastly I have the darker grey cloth. I’ve had it a little over a year and love it! Had a 2014 Cummins beforehand and decided fixing random parts that went out was very expensive. Picked up this truck and the payments only went up like $50 a month for a brand new truck with a brand new warranty 😁 should be under warranty until my kids are out of daycare!

The etorque is a generator the replaces the alternator, the battery is behind the rear seats.
Correct, Form what I can find there is a unit of some sort on top of the alternator(Generator) or built into the alternator, and the battery is behind the rear seats.
Needs a vented hood or the double vent hood like the 4th gen models some had.
The Sport model has the vented looking hoods.
As a life long chevy guy I gotta say that's one nice truck inside and out. Minus the stupid shifter of course.
I'm in the same boat, i've had 3 Silverados and i'm thinking of switching. overall better quality ride and the shifter takes getting used to but its so smooth.

I love that tow mirror! But also this is a steal for $53K! The only thing GM would have comparable is the GMC SLT with all these features minus the panoramic, and still come up north of $55k

I'm still curious as to why they put the "map storage" in the truck. The truck has navigation. I occasionally drop my key or phone in it in my 2015 and its a pain in butt to get it out. I think I have an old snowmobile trail map in the passenger side. It basically collects dust.

Coming to the end of my 2016 ram 1500 lease, not sure if I want another one. Since I've taken delivery of my 2016 the MDS system has had issues, the transition from 4 to 8 cylinders is very rough sounds like its misfiring and since it doesn't set off any check engine lights the dealer said its completely normal even though the first time I took a test drive with a mechanic he said it sounded like a bad solenoid. I may be switching to chevy or ford.
Chevy and ford are so BLAND compared to Ram, Its a lease so you wont keep any issues, Ram has made a lot of improvements from last body style.
When you are 18000 dollars into a 3 year lease you should have a quality product , not a truck with a 52000 dollar window sticker that you have to dump because it runs like shit. I would never buy a Ram product again, very disappointed.

How did you get a panoramic roof on a Big Horn? It isn’t listed as an option when you build one online.

The only thing I don't like is the speedometer and rpm cluster. The needles are not sitting the same and I hate that so much....i hope they fix that on the 2500 ram.

New owner of a 2019 1500 big horn , is there anyway to open the doors without having to physically press the key fob? I’ve been trying to figure this out
If equipped with passive entry and have the key fob on you you can lock and unlock the doors by a button on the handle.

I think you have to get a towing technology group to get the 360 system with tow mirrors now that the HDs are out.

Black vehicles need to be washed they show all the dirt! Just go straight to Limited model they have everything and more for a few grand more and you're done, best stereo, air suspension, ACC, ac seats, etc. I've seen them discounted 5-6 grand already which puts you mid 50's
I'm thinking Laramie. More standard features + Its cheaper than the Limited.

Nice interior I would like to combine it with 2019 GMC sierra denali exterior & add panoramic since gmc didn't think straight at the moment.. But I also love the larime and add those extras to that GMC .... But you gotta think about final cost with interest... So its like buying a Rover... Then you gotta put insurance on it and depending on your "Driving" history that's how much it gonna cost you per month about $200 just insurance alone cause you gotta cover your asset well.. Then there's gas price let's see V8... About $100 full tank... Maybe a weeks worth, but that depends on and where you drive to & from... And for how many yrs will you be paying it off in...then there's your mortgage.. And well it adds on...monthly..so make sure you make the right decisions or it will be paycheck too paycheck unless you got 50% saved up for down payment... Gn

Everything looks good but the mirrors. The mirrors are very ugly .
Most visibility out of the RAM Mirrors
DeLo Enterprises most visibility for tow mirrors still go to Ford as their blind spot mirror is larger. But I give props to Ram for putting tow mirrors on their 1/2 tons in almost every trim model unlike the other guys.
It's nice to see them make trucks for woman now.
