Just got my 2019 Ram today and you helped fill in the missing blanks. The dealer covered a lot, but there is always another question. Great job on you video.
I’m sold. Picking up my truck at the end of the month. Lone Star in billet silver. Same as this, but with 20 inch wheels. RAM knocked this one out of the park. Your video is the best. Better than the salesman at the dealer!
I've been scouring TH-cam for reviews and walkarounds of the 2019-2021 RAM 1500 because I plan to buy one outright in the next few years, you have one of the best and most comprehensive video covering it. Thanks a bunch!
i’m literally going to refer to this video if I have any functionality questions before i refer to the owners manual. I pick up my 2019 1500 in delmonico red tomorrow and I cant wait!
This is such an attractive truck i am so glad my family members company chose this truck over the Silverado this family works in a profession that requires you to drive a truck frequently and infact his ram is a company car your review was so helpful.
Very nicely done! Excellent detail. I like the infotainment setup in this truck more than the larger screen but I would want the bucket seats and console.
I just bought mine yesterday. Now has 73 miles on. Equipt with the pkg group 2 aswell. Love the hemi engine. Cant wait to learn all the features. So far the only thing I dont like is that 12volt on topnof the dash is the only one I find in the front of the vehicle. So my dash-cam is pluged in there. May have to hard wire. Beautiful truck anyhow.
Look Mike you're going to owe me money because I'm wanting to buy one of these new Ram trucks. Just kidding man keep up the great videos. They are well worth it 🙌
My family member bought a longhorn package truck just like this one but in white and his personal truck is a laramie in black with saddle brown leather
It is designed for auto stop. It can be disabled by one touch of a button. If you choose a model with E torque the transition from the electric motor to the gas motor is so smooth and seem less you cannot feel it. I personally have hated the start stop feature in all my others vehicles but with E torque they have finally got it right. I will bet every manufacturer follows this design in the near future.
The v6 with etorque has absolutely phenomenal stop start system. It doesn't use the starter to restart the engine but instead the etorque starts it up so there's no delay.
The important details are in the door jam. There should be two stickers. A white one, and a yellow one. The yellow one tells us what the Cargo and Towing Capacity is for this specific truck&Trim loaded with those option. Sadly after having spent my time watching an excellent video, it failed to deliver this most crucial of these information's. All that needed to be done was to open the driver's door and show us the stickers. Instead i have to go to two other website links for it,..??? - I can learned about the options for all Ram Trucks from Ram's website thank you. The only thing you could provide that Ram could not without building and specking out a truck completely, is the final tally on weight, towing and cargo capacity which can only be recorded once the vehicle is actually completely built to spec. Then and only then is a sticker with that information produced for that specific individual truck. - So we need a pre-built truck to know what it's specific cargo and towing capacity is once the options are added to the truck. That's why Ram can not provide that information on it's websites. (The information provide on the Ram website is for a base model, 2 wheel drive . This also pertains to the MPG.. So if you choose a 4x4,..the numbers change. Add heated seats,..the numbers change more and so on..) - So in the future it would be nice if someone started with the "Door Jam Sticker information" first. Then we could understand what those options are really costing the trucks cargo and towing capacity and it's MPG. Now that would be insightful, informative, educational and above all,..actually useful!
I contacted Ram and they said the 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman and Bighorn only have the V8 option with 4x4 configuration. Is that true from what you’ve seen?
It is Jan. 2025 and i am looking at buying a 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn, V6 , with 90,000 easy miles (i know the truck and owner well). Anyone have pros or cons? I’m going from a 2013 F150 Lariat, eco boost with 170,000 miles.
That little hand makes me giggle Everytime 😊
It really does lol
Mike gives the best reviews on TH-cam, he gives more info than dealerships!!!!!!

So damn simple yet smal luxury at a reasonable price, this is why I love the Big Horn trims on these things!
I admit I wasn’t a really a Ram guy because I’m an F150 guy but man the new 1500s 😍

Picked up my 2020 big horn yesterday. The big horn package is such a good trim because you still get the bells and whistles without the Laramie price.
That’s a really nice truck. To bad I’m still paying for my ram 2500 your videos convinced me to buy in 2016 lol
Best ever interior review period. Taught me of features I wasn't aware of!! Thanks
Really great in-depth video. Great quality work and no wind noise! Gave me all the information I wanted. Thank you. I’m sold on a new Ram.

Wow! Ram 1500 has come a long way! I thought I liked Toyota but now this is a game changer! Congrats to Ram innovation!
I was so distracted by your little blue pointy finger. Every time you would point at something I would crack up lol.
Whenever I see the pointer I giggle. Good information; good review👍
Just picked one up today. This video is very helpful. Thank you sir.

Just bought one today! Thank you for the thorough review!
Just drove one today and I'm sold love the ram
Very nicely done! Excellent detail. I like the infotainment setup in this truck more than the larger screen but I would want the bucket seats and console.
Bucket seats and console are an option on the Big Horn. For the larger screen, you need to buy a Laramie or Limited. Hold on to your wallet!
Very informative, thank you! Absolutely love mine! The Alpine audio system is fantastic!!!!!
Always enjoy your extensive reviews Mike!

Best review ever!!! Fantastic job.
Love the new Ram
Great video and info! Thank you!
Mike went from yellow to blue lol 😆
This will be my very first truck to own bro.
Good as always Mike!
Thank you... Please share this video if you can :)
Please Reviews of The FORD F150 ALL MODELS if you can because your review's are EXILENT, Brilliant, and also FOCUSSED 👌
Damn the guy with the chainsaw! Great truck!
Look Mike you're going to owe me money because I'm wanting to buy one of these new Ram trucks. Just kidding man keep up the great videos. They are well worth it 🙌
Thank you... Please share this video if you can :)
Best review EVER
Every car reviewer needs a pointer! Lol!
Sorry but I just lost it when he started the engine with that little pointer finger 😂
My family member bought a longhorn package truck just like this one but in white and his personal truck is a laramie in black with saddle brown leather
these Rams are about as handsome as a truck can get.
These new Rams are the best redesign of 2019, but at 14:09, where is the dead pedal? I need the dead pedal
I love ur finger pointer!!!
I’m interested in buying this but what I really want to know is where can I buy one of those sticks with a blue hand
Nice job Mike
Thank you... Please share this video if you can :)
Getting mine soon, can't wait. lol
True Boxing Kings did you get it ?
Blue pointer !! That's absolutely unacceptable
Great review as always 👍👍
AHHHHH i have to wait 12 weeks for till i get my truck
Can we see the 2500 Laramie blacked out?
No option of upfitt switches? Kind of a bummer with all the other tech in this truck.
Gave it a like because of the hand
And my family member bought one as a personal truck as well
Are you planning on doing a review of the new Rebel?
Yes as soon as I have access to one.
I wonder if the electronic grill thing will be on the 2500/3500s so you no longer need a grill cover for cold days up north
That pointer is fahkin hilarious! nice review, nice truck!
Not bad but does it have the alpine sound system??? Test that puppy. Its not bad at all.
My 2019 gets 10-12 MPG-ain’t that wonderful-for gas company’s?
do you know if the engine auto stops when the vehicle comes to a complete stop? if so, can it be disabled?
It is designed for auto stop. It can be disabled by one touch of a button. If you choose a model with E torque the transition from the electric motor to the gas motor is so smooth and seem less you cannot feel it. I personally have hated the start stop feature in all my others vehicles but with E torque they have finally got it right. I will bet every manufacturer follows this design in the near future.
Auto stop is not on the regular Hemi version.
The v6 with etorque has absolutely phenomenal stop start system. It doesn't use the starter to restart the engine but instead the etorque starts it up so there's no delay.
Not sure why they eliminated the storage option under the rear bench seat
They didn't.
@@lbowsk yeah they did. My 2020 doesn't have it.
Do those seats recline or is that only available in the higher end models?
Not this one. The Laramie and higher does.
@@MikesCarInfo does the drivers seat recline?
@@DanRichter Yes the front seats recline.
@@MikesCarInfo ok, was gonna say, that's a major detail I didn't hear about if the front seats didn't recline. Thanks
those looked like pretty solid rotors to me..

@@MikesCarInfo i stand corrected sir. you clearly said ventilated, and i heard slotted. my apologies.
Didn’t see...is that the longer bed?
It’s a blue hand today....
Perfecto...

No need to spec-out a vehicle. Simply use the vin number

You need to hook me up with a new ram mike 😢😢

Still has the 8 year old window switches :( Other than that Awesome :)
Just got one 😀, I'm UBER HAPPY 👌
I contacted Ram and they said the 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman and Bighorn only have the V8 option with 4x4 configuration. Is that true from what you’ve seen?
All the trims have a v6 option

Nice but no Alpine system, dam l love my alpine
Much better!
Why is the headliner tan and when the seats/dash etc. are gray? That's weird.
0:20 Peep Challenger. 👀
They finally got rid of that cheap antenna!!
chocolatewheelchair
That’s the only thing I hate about how my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 is designed!
how long is the bed

👍🏻😘😘😘
Bench seat!

Hah, tiny blue hand.
what the hell is that blue hand
Video was not informative enough. You missed some key details. 😆
Lawnmower sound gets annoying after a while
The only thing I hate in American cars is interior
Have to admit, you lost me with the plastic hand 😢
Ok
Ugly. I'll get a 2018.
Now (till the end of the year) is a good time to get a 2018 since dealers will be clearing them out :)
I definitely like the 2018 looks but the 2019 is growing on me. The 2019's interior is really nice. Can't go wrong with either year.
