Amazing videos so far, you could show some of the night entertaiment too, there are very nice pubs, bars, clubs or discotecas (as we say on here), beatiful latin women, very easy to make friends n get a fantastic night by dancing n drinking beers, cocktails or somethin stronger like a bottle of shnapps (aguardiente llanero) shared with some lemon!!! I am working on my Spanish with plans to visit Cartagena this summer. I will be there for as long as possible to discover if this is where I want to live out my retirement. Your videos and that of others have been a great source of information. I am a avid photographer who would love to capture the essence of Colombia as it is today.
Thank you Geno Paiz!! Colombia is a fantastic place to take it easy and live a good life. I highly recommend retiring here because the cost of living is fantastic compared to other countries with the same quality of life. It is entirely possible to live your best life for less than 1/2 the cost in the U.S. or Western Europe. Cheers to you and I sure hope you come down! 🍻

Thank you Chris! It is super clean and super modern. A great place to run errands and spend the afternoon. Malls here in Colombia are a popular place for the family to spend some time together on the weekends.

Thank you Carla MacDonnell! I am glad you enjoyed the episode. To answer your question...Sometimes. it is very easy to find your favorite brands in Colombia. But depending on the industry your favorite brand belongs to, it can cost more or less. Beer and Cigarettes cost MUCH less...clothes tend to cost more.

I was wondering what city was it. It's Villavo, of course! It's similar to my city, Búcara, just a bit flatter (por llanera, claro) and much hotter (también por llanera). Love it! Thank you for this particular video.
