Not true. Every genius is born a genius. You can not become a genius. However, most geniuses are talentless -- even mindless. Thus, creativity and work are key.
anyone that understands physics, sees him as a dead weight that is upright due to a concept of the center of mass. Nothing more. Advice from him is worse than from a cabbie.
you have the problem of inserting your theoretical physics vs his tried and true applied physics. there is backing to the center of mass idea, however standing up straight does improve various human functions and this man with 50 years experience in his topic is probably more well versed in what he does than you.
+WisdomVendor1 how so? Please explain. Theoretical physics is not the same as applied physics. What may seem only plausible on paper in the lab isn't always true in the real world. He has 50 years of applying physical and perceptive learning of balance so one can easily surmise by this time he'd know a lot about it. Plus he's adding Bruce Lee to the mix - another iconic expert of human balance. But yeah, you know better. *sigh*
I love him ❤️
Wow! Found the person who made me cry .....# inspiration #Petit
Such a simple video, but profound wisdom.
This is an insightful and encouraging video, thanks.
There's a lot of things like this. Most people aren't born athletes or geniuses. They have to work for it.

Awesome!!! I started this balancing during the day thing a few months ago. I do it while driving too and it gives a cool theme park ride experience.
It's really about self discipline.
Awesome!
"Walking is an art"
*trips 12 times a day*
That's great and all, but how good is he at balancing a budget?
Did everyone else just sit upright?
+Scott Tuohy Yes I did, and placed my feet parallel :-)
lol damnit....yes
+Scott Tuohy lol yea :D
+Scott Tuohy wut.
Yeah, fill your head with self-conscious worries about completely irrelevant stuff, it will make you feel better.
Interesting that "The Walk" comes out this year, and suddenly both Big Think and DNews are doing videos on balancing acts.
+Shawn Ravenfire It's no coincidence. You have to strike while the iron is hot.
Any idea which Bruce Lee book he is referencing?
+Steffen Frost -"The Tao of Jeet Kune Do"
i placed my feet pajalel

+WisdomVendor1 Does your understanding of physics enable you to walk a tightrope without falling off?
