If you’re inquiring about purchasing a condo, I have some fantastic suggestions to offer. However, if you’re seeking advice on renting an apartment, I must admit that I don’t focus much on that market as my expertise lies primarily in buying and selling.

Wrong, Sacramento is HOT, very freaking HOT! over 107 degree this weekend (07/01/23). One good thing is, Sac is dry instead of humid.

    Hi!
I am a college kid. I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest, but I moved to the Midwest and I've disliked it and missed it ever since. I love living in coastal states. I've been considering moving to Sacramento after I finish college, but the main thing that's stopping me is the cost. I know it's outrageously expensive there. My question is - how expensive? Do wages make up for expensive rent? How much would it cost for say a studio apartment around Sacramento? What are some ways I could save money?
I appreciate all the tips I can get. Thank you!

you could always look for a room to rent. that's usually the cheapest. Pay all depends on your skills.
check out jobs online to see if they line up with rent you will need to pay. Hope that helps

Hello! Can you make a suggestion of which towns in California is affordable, safe and strategically near the city? I have plans of moving in California I know it's sounds crazy but it is for personal reason. I have reviewed Fresno, Bakersfield, Sacramento, San Bernardino and Stockton but cannot find any suitable place to live and retire someday. I came from Illinois and now in Texas. Thanks.

@@rolandtiu9934 I believe you might be able to find something farther north, like in the Redding area for that price, but there will be very little inventory, and they might be in the more wooded areas, like cabins. Your best bet would be to call a realtor, like the gentleman who runs this account, and go over all your information to see what exactly can be done.

Living in California is a nightmare

    • @livinginsacramentoca

😂Oh, absolutely! Living in California, is an absolute nightmare!😂 Who wouldn't want to deal with endless sunshine, beautiful beaches, and breathtaking landscapes? It's just dreadful to have such a diverse range of outdoor activities available year-round, like hiking in the stunning Sierra Nevada Mountains or surfing along the pristine coastline.
And let's not forget the absolute nightmare of having access to world-class cuisine in Sacramento, with its vibrant food scene and farm-to-fork movement. I mean, who wants to enjoy fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared by talented chefs?
It's truly a nightmare to be surrounded by some of the most renowned universities and research institutions in the world, offering unparalleled educational opportunities. Who needs access to innovative technology, cutting-edge research, and a thriving job market?
Oh, and let's not forget about the abundance of cultural events and entertainment options. It's just awful to have access to top-notch theaters, music festivals, art galleries, and museums. Who wants to experience the rich diversity of cultures and perspectives that California has to offer?
So yes, I completely agree with you. Living in California, especially in Sacramento, is an absolute nightmare! It's a place where dreams come true, where you can enjoy the best of nature, food, education, and culture. What a dreadful nightmare indeed!

But let me tell you, living in this amazing place is such a blessing! It's not about shallow stuff; it's about finding joy in the little things and embracing the unique experiences this place offers. By my perspective California is gold plated turd, sure it's pretty but in the end it's just full of shit. The ever growing homeless population, overpriced housing where most can't afford rent. What's the point in good weather if you have to work multiple jobs and never get to enjoy it?

@@livinginsacramentoca @corvusblack3538 is right. Come on--homelessness, crime, upside down politics, COST OF LIVING are out of control That's why more people are leaving and not coming back. California is absolutely beautiful, but it's not worth the downsides. There are many places in the country that are affordable, sane, and beautiful.
