It's a big city with restaurants, night-life, parks and waterways. What's not to love. We're also in short driving distance to Montery/Carmel, SF, the Giant Redwoods, Napa, Lake Tahoe, Gold Rush towns, lakes and outdoors areas and Yosemite. It's a great, central place to be in NorCal!
Thanks for sharing your perspective! Sacramento does have its challenges, but it's also a city with a lot to offer. It has a unique blend of culture, history, and community that sets it apart. While it might not have the same number of Fortune 500 companies, it's a place where many people find a great quality of life and a strong sense of community. Plus, Sacramento’s charm and potential are definitely worth exploring!
I been here since early 90s and its just not the same anymore. Many places look like the hood here and its hard to meet people here and just overall kinda dull. Not entirely bad but some places are prety chill and have some nice homes. Just not a place i would call great
Sacramento has gone downhill and it’s such a bummer. There’s a few good areas in Sacramento that are worth a visit but it’s just not worth it compared to other areas around Sacramento. 🎉
You're talking about Oakland Sacramento I know is thriving and the exodus from the Bay continues. If you're miserable life can't see, then anywhere you go you're unhappy 😅😅

Sac has all the headaches of a big city with few of the benefits. Largest metro without a Fortune 500 or Fortune 1000 company.

This couple doesn't live in the area that looks like the hood.
Wasps are a pain in Los Angeles County as well.
There are no scorpions right? I can’t do scorpions.
No scorpions around here
