Great stuff! Multi piece fly rods have been the standard for as long as I can remember with no detriment to how they fish, like you said I really hope multi piece conventional rods and high end options continue to hit the market. Some people might disagree but there is a lot to be learned from the fly guys :) thanks for sharing as always Ben!
Ferrule tech has come so far!
I love the way to cork wears in on my triza rods , the cork out the gate aren’t impressive until you put some hours onto them and they are beautiful
One of my favorite rods!!!
Yes!!
Love my Baby Plugging, I, mainly, use it for neds.
Got my Triza Ageha in a few weeks ago from ya and the Baby Plugging in last week. Used them at the river this weekend and they were fantastic! I also was using the great hunting minnows and they were getting destroyed. Caught some really good bass and trout. Did put in a order for Owner replacement hooks cause they snapped the factory ones so easy! Thanks Ben and the team at The Hook Up Tackle! 🙏🤘🍻
Yeah those hooks aren't durable! Thank you for your business! Glad the gear is kicking ass for you!!!
Can’t wait to try my new Triza Ageha and NRX+ 872s on Lake Erie this year. Should be monsters for those brown bass!
Hell yeah!
Baby Plugging is a dope moping(damiki) rod as well as the other techniques you mentioned.
Ahh, true!! 🍻
What reel would you use for the baby plugging
The new Exsence 3000 is money on my baby plugging. Looks stealth.
I really like the Baby Plugging for the X-Nanahan and the Ageha for the 110 jr. Absolutely perfect actions for it. I’m going to have to try the Baby Plugging for drop shot. I’m usually using a Hedgehog Evoluzion, but being cramped for space in a kayak, the BP is more versatile.
I think you’ll love it instantly for the dropshot!
Windbuster is King!
👑
How does the ageha handle the 110s compared to the wind buster?
Ben, I heard from another channel that Megabass will be producing the Flyssa spinning rod again....can you confirm this to be true? I had come so close to purchasing one when they were available, but then they disappeared, so I bought a Windbuster, which I’m certainly pleased with...just wondering if megabass will bring back a 7’6” Spinning rod to their lineup again..
2023
Well crap that Silver Shadow looks like a jackpot for what I typically do (small swimbaits and grubs on jigs for river smallmouth)!
It would be perfect for that!
Would you recommend using the triza in Saltwater?
Can’t decide if I want to get the baby pluggin or wait for the flyssa. What size reel would you pair with the baby pluggin?
Thank you Ben for an awsome video. my order for a Baby P. is minutes away.
You’re going to live the baby plugging! Cheers my friend! 🍻
Need to get Geoff on the TS destroyer spinning rod with some big swimbaits lol
I'd pay for that.
Hi, i have some questions, actually i'm using Glx and Nrx rods by gloolmis, but i Need a 2 piece rods becuase some times i Need to travel with Bus or Trains, but i Need a Rod with High sensitive and with a low Wright and in thinking to buy the Silver Shadow, i wanna know of his blank Is fast like a Glx/Nrx Rod and of have a comparable sensivity
Looking for help. In the Triza casting models. Looking for a all around rod ( if possible ) for 3/8 - 1/2 swim jig and bottom contact in same range. can you recommend a model and can one be paired with a Exclusive Tip to make this work ? Thanks for your input.
Love the info you put out and always look forward to your content. You have taught me about brands and options I never knew about. Enjoy ordering online from you , but sure wish a Hook Up was in Illinois just to be able to come in and enjoy the vibe you put out on TH-cam. Thank you.
It’s hard to beat the Stympalides for an all around rod. That’s what I would choose, unless you’re planning on throwing heavier stuff too, then I’d go Dragoon
@@thehookuptackle_usa thank you very much. Do you have any idea when you will have those back in stock ?
Noticed you guys haven’t spoken much about the addermine, are you looking forward to the new p5 version and will we get a review of it ?maybe a comparison between the 2 ?
I think the addermine is going to be an amazing addition! Just hard to talk about something that’s not coming until the end of the year and that I haven’t used. In theory, it should be awesome!
Triza, , st Croix has a exalent Farall, Patton that makes 2 peace feels like One, ? I was told,
Any rod recommendations for hover strolling or I-motion baits?
The baby plugging would be awesome for that if the lure range is right for what you’re doing. If you need something longer maybe the Steez 7’6” MML
I know this is off topic but hopefully you guys can help me. I'm wonder if I should go Braid, Mono or Fluro on my baitcaster. I want some casting distance but I wondering if straight braid is worth going over Fluro. 7'9 rod rated for 1/2 - 2.
It’s all personal preference, but since you’re asking me, my personal preference is fluoro on everything except walking topwater baits and heavy grass/tulles stuff. Just get a limp fluoro, like sunline Sniper, and the casting distance should be great 👍
@@thehookuptackle_usa Thank you very much.
When you guys post a video anything less than 30 mins I get sad 😢
Agreed. This is waaaaay too short! 🤣 I was like, WTF. Is that it!!!!??
I love you 😂🍻
@@TheHookUpTackle we love you more🤣
Megabass is a joke!!!
I see. Well thank you for the great input.
@@thehookuptackle_usa 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Excellent response! Nice! Very nice! LMAO!!!! Handled with precision! LOL!!!
The real joke here is the name Leonard 🫵🏼🤣
