I boil beets, strain the water and chill the beets for salad mostly for my husband as I am diabetic. I ferment the beet water with acv for about 72 hours. I keep a batch in the fridge and make my evening drink with aromatic bitters and more Acv. Add a little bit of stevia for a sweeter taste . If you want to add more flavors you can use rose essence. Now I will make it regular to see if it helps my BP. My Bp stays high in spite of a low carb diet.
You can also just eat raw garlic. I like to mince it or slice it thin and put on my food. I buy crystalized beet root, a tablespoon in water a day. It’s easy and has no earthy taste which bothers some. Also hibiscus tea & Hawthorn Berry tea.

Fairchild Apple cider vinegar is better then Bragg’s. Fairchild has no added water. I mixed apple cider vinegar, garlic, lemon with ginger and cinnamon. Drink this before my meals.

Celery is a natural diuretic. So is parsley. For people retaining fluid, either celery juice or parsley tea can help lower BP via it's diuretic properties.
Garlic works but not with everybody my father takes two garlic flakes at breakfast everyday for past many years his age is 80 it works fine for him my mother started taking within three to four days she started hot inflammation like sensation all over her body her age is 78 start taking one flake for some days see if suits you there on continue

Garlic, beet root juice or capsules, hibiscus & Hawthorne tea, pomegranate juice, vitamin D3&K2, nitrous oxide, magnesium, lemon juice , apple cider vinegar, flax seed, tumeric, Cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and omega 3 (fish oil). These are the things I can think of off top of my head. Hope this helps!
Oh also try to increase your potassium intake and decrease sodium. You want ratio of potassium to sodium 2:1 ...so twice as much potassium. If you're on any meds, please research and speak with a Dr first as some of these things can interact!
So... beets. No need to peel them, just harvest them (not buy) wash them, roast them, eat them. From the garden to the gut in 30 minutes without any of the stuff you don't want in your food. They are one of the easiest things to grow anywhere in the country, even indoors. What you can't consume, pressure can them and have beets all winter long.

Cut or crushed garlic needs to sit exposed to the air for 5-10 minutes to get the most allicin production. Putting it in the water right away limits the allicin.

For a while I ate a lot of beetroots to lower my blood pressure. It worked! However instead my GP, after taking my next blood test, was seriously worried over my excessive iron numbers and for that reason sent me back to hospital. There's just no pleasing these guys, is there!

If you read labels you've seen this recent addition along with potassium on all foods. Even single ingredient ones, which shouldbe impossible. It's for the Internet of bodies. Hiccups are also treated by taking a deep breath and holding it as long as possible (plug your nose as well). If it doesn't work the first time, exhale and repeat the whole action. Sometimes needs 3 or 4 tries.
Adam I have used Apple cider vinegar occasionally. I have some in my fridge. Mate after 65 it changes with exercise on the bike ride. It's more of a stimulant and is really more noticeable cycling than under 65. I rekon it iimproves performance . But now I am 70 y/o I am cautious of stimulants. Definately purifys the blood. Late teens brings out all the pimples . And cleans blood. I recommend it. I might try the beat powder. I usually by beetroot juice in glass bottle. But I am always running out. Good stuff. Perfect example for me is 150 over 90. Now I stoped cycling. My bp on average is the same. 130 over 75. It's been equaling out. We have pressure to maintain heart. My own study goes back 30 years. And if you keep taking the same benifit. As like ginger or beetroot juice , the heart fights back and over 2 weeks returns a higher result. So ginger 3 days. Then wait a week and beetroot juice 3 days. Rotating through. How strong is the heart. At 25 years old I did a 750 kg lift on a leg press machine at gym. That I think is 4,000 watts one off. And the weight of a small car. Walking up a hill 2 weeks ago . Some one passed me. I am 70. I held the pace 10 metres back . At the top of the hill. 600 metres my heart was doing 200 beats. Not a habit. And I don't want to repeat.

I just got off my blood pressure meds. When I read it in the mornings the first reading is all ways between 140/83 to 136/81 but after I sit and try not to think about it it drops between 127/80 to 122/75 any thoughts
That happens to me at the doctors office. 2nd reading is always 10 points lower (top number). Probably stress. I want to get off my BP meds too. Glad you did! Just started in May. Started eating healthy, but I need to go walking everyday not just here and there. I'm sure I'll get this accomplished.
For me, pulling on my hair/ponytail low, close to the nape of my neck for about 1 minute, makes my hiccups go away. Think its about stimulating the same nerves that causes hiccups.
TU, I drink the lemon and garlic, we grew up on these being wogs. Also had lots of vinegar as we made our own dressing with fresh farm cream, dash of sugar and vinegar, still the best tasting salad dressing. We grew and ate beets. QUESTION. Now that I am old and grey and getting lazy. I eat Tinned Beet will this do the same job as the powdered is not available in OZ?

In order to do what you mentioned about hiccups I would need another arm and hand. Or maybe use foam style ear plugs to be able to perform that combination.
Doc I am 28 years old i have kidney stones for a while now on both sides. And my BP is high since last week and it stays high every day now despite trying everything. I am getting 8 to 9 hours sleep too and maintaining my diet. I have heard that beetroot is not good for kidney stones. So what would you suggest in this regard. Try cooking 3 garlic cloves in one cup of water and after they are soft or after it starts boiling put it in a blender and pour it in a cup and squeeze some lemon juice and pour a little bit of honey and mix with a spoon and drink it it helps to lower blood pressure and don’t consume to much salt or salty food and No caffeine, stop drinking coke, Pepsi or coffee, God Bless you, hope you get better👍🏼

I cold press raw beets and save the pulp for salad topping I also chop up the beet leaves 🍃 and mix in with my greens 💚 🎉

How about simply eating a few organic, steamed beets daily for lowering blood pressure?
Add garlic, lemon, water, beet root, creatine, asv, 30g protein powder, 1 nuun energy tab, 1000mg of Vitamin C and vodka.....now thats a cocktail

Hiccups are also treated by taking a deep breath and holding it as long as possible (plug your nose as well). If it doesn't work the first time, exhale and repeat the whole action. Sometimes needs 3 or 4 tries.

Adam I have used Apple cider vinegar occasionally. I have some in my fridge. Mate after 65 it changes with exercise on the bike ride. It's more of a stimulant and is really more noticeable cycling than under 65. I rekon it iimproves performance . But now I am 70 y/o I am cautious of stimulants. Definately purifys the blood. Late teens brings out all the pimples . And cleans blood. I recommend it.
I might try the beat powder. I usually by beetroot juice in glass bottle. But I am always running out. Good stuff. Nitrate Oxide. And allows the body to take in more oxygen.n
Maybe try ginger root or powder also.
@@woodenshews provided you don't get a consistant low blood pressure. Let's guess, because they don't know. Cycling all my life 51 years. Give a higher blood pressure. Perfect example for me is 150 over 90. Now I stoped cycling. My bp on average is the same. 130 over 75. It's been equaling out. We have pressure to maintain heart. My own study goes back 30 years. And if you keep taking the same benifit. As like ginger or beetroot juice , the heart fights back and over 2 weeks returns a higher result. So ginger 3 days. Then wait a week and beetroot juice 3 days. Rotating through.
How strong is the heart. At 25 years old I did a 750 kg lift on a leg press machine at gym. That I think is 4,000 watts one off. And the weight of a small car.
Walking up a hill 2 weeks ago . Some one passed me. I am 70. I held the pace 10 metres back . At the top of the hill. 600 metres my heart was doing 200 beats. Not a habit. And I don't want to repeat.

Great video! Many thanks for sharing. Sadly I cannot do the beetroot biohack as I am a kidney stone former. Beetroot juice/powder, Spinach, Almonds, and Rutabaga are off limits for me as they are too high in oxylates and promote formation of calcium oxylate kidney stones in kidney stone formers.
I just got off my blood pressure meds. When I read it in the mornings the first reading is all ways between 140/83 to 136/81 but after I sit and try not to think about it it drops between 127/80 to 122/75 any thoughts
That happens to me at the doctors office. 2nd reading is always 10 points lower (top number). Probably stress. I want to get off my BP meds too. Glad you did! Just started in May. Started eating healthy, but I need to go walking everyday not just here and there. I'm sure I'll get this accomplished.
For me, pulling on my hair/ponytail low, close to the nape of my neck for about 1 minute, makes my hiccups go away. Think its about stimulating the same nerves that causes hiccups.

TU, I drink the lemon and garlic, we grew up on these being wogs. Also had lots of vinegar as we made our own dressing with fresh farm cream, dash of sugar and vinegar, still the best tasting salad dressing. We grew and ate beets.
QUESTION. Now that I am old and grey and getting lazy. I eat Tinned Beet will this do the same job as the powdered is not available in OZ?

Doc I am 28 years old i have kidney stones for a while now on both sides. And my BP is high since last week and it stays high every day now despite trying everything. I am getting 8 to 9 hours sleep too and maintaining my diet. I have heard that beetroot is not good for kidney stones. So what would you suggest in this regard. Try cooking 3 garlic cloves in one cup of water and after they are soft or after it starts boiling put it in a blender and pour it in a cup and squeeze some lemon juice and pour a little bit of honey and mix with a spoon and drink it it helps to lower blood pressure and don’t consume to much salt or salty food and No caffeine, stop drinking coke, Pepsi or coffee, God Bless you, hope you get better👍🏼
