WRC Theme 2001 - 2005

- This is the extended version of the WRC theme which was used in the 2001 to 2005 seasons. I found it a few years ago on a Yahoo Geocities WRC fansite which has now been taken down. The audio isn't the best quality but that is the way I found it.

Wrc was really competitive than citroen ford are only ones left long time
@@burakguray5080 I think Citroën and Peugeot were in group 2 or Group A until they went awd and switched to WRC.

Apart from Group B, WRC golden era was probably from 1997 to 2003.
9 different manufacturers, the 2-liter kit car era, multiple world champions and legendary drivers, etc... it was just perfect!

Thank you, whoever thought of the idea to put engine sounds in the theme, cause the part from 2:34 to 2:43 was stuck in my head pretty much throughout my whole childhood.
Mine the same, watching relations from rallies when Chołowczyc was one of the champs. When still we had A, B and N group.

Those were the days watching WRC rallies on Speedvision
In those days was many big names fighting in World Champion, like Grönholm, Solberg, Burns, McRae, Märtin, Sainz et cetera. What now? It's only Loeb vs other drivers. And only few manufactuers.. Where is Mitsubishi, Subaru, Peugeot and others?
We have in Finland Hirvonen and Latvala, but i miss that Britain hasn't any good driver after Colin McRae's Richard Burns and Michael Park's death. Only Matthew Wilson, who has drived in Stobart Team many years..

M-Sport won the driver's and constructor's title. Hyundai, Citroen and Toyota along with M Sport will fight in 2018.

How? Neuville is a bad tempered prick who can't take responsibility, and Citroen hasn't been great since Ogier came along and Loeb stopped going for the title.
I watched the WRC in the past here in Chile by the chilean networks TVN Chile and Chilevisión and also I remember this music

Well, Loeb's just good for his era. Rallying is trully a skill, and he has mastered it. It's not his fault he's good, it's just that others are not as good as him.
Don't get me wrong, I admire all rally drivers for they have the balls to tackle on those beasts in the harshest surfaces of the planet. It's just that Loeb seems to be on a league of his own, in this era of rallying.
Anybody remember the guitar riff when they did a commercial break?

Well, that is right someways. For example: Rally Finland 2006: Juho Hänninen and few other drivers got disqualified for wrong driving clothes, because those wasn't fireproof(or something like that).
I don't remember was that last season or what, when Loeb drives part of the stage(or transition on stage) and his co-driver dont use a seatbelt.. No penalties. I think that bigger offense is drive without seatbelt.

Whatever you say, you have to accept that Loeb is a class above the others . He can only be compared with racing legends like Valentino Rossi and Michael Schumacher .

Actually it is, since FIA is a French organization, and guess what nationality Citroën and Mr. Loeb represents... FIA could easily change the rules to more discomfortable form for both Citroën and Loeb, but it doesn't do so due to the Frenchness. France has ruined World Rally Championship, thanks.
no its a tiny percentage favourin citreon and the french team kinda usin team tactics to win so not 100% drivers talent, as in getin other drivers to pull over for him
