There are plenty of methods to ship from your supplier directly to Amazon, but this is my favorite that I use. I like to send the products to a freight forwarder in the US before heading to Amazon, so I can have my inspection service check out the products. Make sure to treat your business LIKE a business! Quality is super important.

@@danieldeleon884 I think it depends how you set it up. From what I have learned so far, there are 3 options. 1. The manufacturer in China can leave the product at their factory, and you have to figure out how to get it from their warehouse in China to Amazon FBA in USA. 2. The manufacturer can take care of shipping up until it reaches the port in the USA and then you figure out how to get it from the port to the FBA center. 3. The manufacture figures out the shipping from Chine directly to the FBA warehouse in USA. I have herd that #1 is the most difficult. #2. is the cheapest. #3 is easiest but most expensive.
@@danieldeleon884 When ordering from Alibaba don't you just put in the freight forwarder's address and once it has arrived at the freight forwarders address they can do the rest.
If I follow the steps in this training my products made in China will go to amazon warehouses and then amazon will send it to future buyers. Correct??
BARCODE mania is a scam, amazon doesn't accept it, i bought one as per your advice and they told me it's used by a product

This is a great video, thank you for sharing your insights! Does a product for Amazon FBA need a UPC and the FNSKU, or can you pick one or the other? I was considering private label and would add the UPC to the package design, if that's all that's needed.

Thank you! When you begin turning it into a profitable business and want to expand your orders that’s when it’s a good idea to get them involved. Otherwise, I would recommend managing from your home/business to validate that selling on Amazon is worth it for you.

You could also just have product shipped to your house for a variety of reasons including quality check. Do all labels yourself then send to an AMAZON warehouse

No I just have the supplier ship directly to my location! I only use the freight forwarder if I’m not going to see the product and need someone to inspect it
You can also pay a company in China to do the inspection for you, then you can just ship straight to the FBA warehouse in USA.

Thanks! You send them after you purchase the product and have created your listing (if it's a new listing). You have to request them to put the labels on and sometimes they'll charge you a small amount to do that.

Nice video, more explicit explanation than many youtubers out there. I'm linked with many manufaturers in China and I deal with logistic regularly (Both ocean freight and Air ship). I'm just thinking about how to utilize my network in China to sell on Amazon and found this very helpful! By the way can I just have manufacturers shipped directly to Amazon warehouse? Say if Air shipping takes 10 days, will it affect inventory management?
Thanks Jason! You can definitely have your manufacturer in China ship directly to the Amazon warehouses. I tend to stay away from this until I’ve worked out a good relationship with the manufacturer and know the quality will be good. Otherwise, if it’s my first time using a manufacturer or the first repeat order, I always involve a freight forwarder and inspect the product before it heads to Amazon. I had horror stories in the past where I ordered a couple thousand products and nearly half we’re defected (electronics). They got to Amazon and had so many customer returns. Lost a lot of money.

For this example on restocking your iPhone case inventory with 200 units, do you send your manufacturer 200 Sku labels (barcodes)? its the same label right just copied 200 times? ˙ope I explain myself correctly !! Very great content thank you very much for sharing!!!

I'm confused on the Barcode part. I searched online and from what I know you have to buy the GTIN barcodes or something similar, do the barcodes that amazon gives replace that?
You need to buy GS1 barcodes from GS1, Those are the barcodes you use to to to generate FNSKU labels, and then finally make a shipping plan. At inspectaman we scan the barcodes when we inspect your products to make sure they work

If we use a freight forwarder, will they chose how are they going to deliver the product to the Amazon's warehouse? In the video, it seems that we decide to use UPS. So, do we make that decision?
They typically make that selection for you, but you can of course make the request if you have a preferred carrier.
Do you physically mail the freight forwarder the shipping labels or do you send them in PDF format and the freight forwarder prints?
If I were to find a product on alibaba or whatever and ask them to place the individual labels on the products like you mentioned, is that something they would commonly get and would know how to do, and do for free? And also, im assuming you would give the supplier your freight forwarders address to ship to them?

Hello! Should I have a third party Inspector check my products before my supplier ships it out to me? because if I don't do that, and I inspect my products myself.. wouldn't it be too late to send it back to the supplier for them to fix it?

Hi Josh, thank you for your video. It's informative. Quick question. I don't know why my first listing becomes "Inactive listing" and the reason shows "out of stock". I tried to use "send/replenish inventory" to input my first shipping plan, but it seems China's address doesn't. I am sure it is because I did something wrong with my listing, or I didn't put Chinese address correctly. It's directly shipping from China by UPS. Or where can I edit the inventory quantity?
If you’re doing Amazon FBA, your listing will remain inactive and inventory at zero until they receive your products. If the China address doesn’t work, contact seller support to figure out why. Worst case, send it to your business or personal residence and then ship it to amazon
is DDP means when China sends directly to amazon warehouse? And if so, is there pros and cons with DDP and FOB getting a freight forwarder? ( i assume you don't need a freight forwarder with DDP ?)

Where do you get your FNSKU labels vs the final shipping labels?
You'll get the FNSKU labels before the shipping labels. Also, the FNSKU labels can be downloaded at any point once your listing is created and marked as FBA. Check out my video Sunday which shows an even easier method on how to do all of this.

Thanks! I always email them to my supplier. They will then print them out on labels and apply each one. Usually if you order a large enough quantity they won’t even charge you for doing the labeling. This can always be negotiated if they don’t offer it for free upfront.

I"m trying to sell and existing product, say a t shirt, when I find it on the list and click sell mine, it puts the other seller as the brand and when I try to change the brand to my own seller name it says the ASIN is associated to the other seller. I would reach out to your supplier through Alibaba chat and ask them when they expect it to be delivered. Shipping via sea freight typically takes a long time to reach the final destination. I wouldn’t be too worried right now, but make sure to reach out to the supplier to figure out when it should arrive. They will have the most accurate details

If its FOB price then china supplier has responsibility to send your shipment upto their port only, then freight forwarder will handle from the china port to fba. Hope i am not missing anything here 😊

Hey! Thank you for the video, I had a question about the sku bar codes. I was going to send them to the manufacturer to stick on my products. Do you also send them to the freight carrier? if so, why?
No, I’ll send them to the manufacturer and have them apply them. You need to send the freight forwarder the shipping labels to put on the package(s) that’s going to Amazon’s FBA warehouses. Usually overseas manufacturers are accustomed to doing this and if you have a large enough order, they’ll even do it for free. Freight forwarder will charge you a good bit to do that.
