    I am new to FBA and just received my first product. I haven't created a listing yet because I am waiting for brand registry approval. My product has the UPC sticker on them because that's all I had at the moment. Can I wait and put the FNSKU on the next order from the manufacturer? This is a custom item I created. Thanks for your quick reply! What can I do, my product is 24inch towel bar that needs some cushioning which is why it is 25.2 inches, how strict is the rules on this? The exact dimension of individual product is 25.2inch x 5.1inch x 4.2inch box and weight is about 1kg. It will be packed in a master carton so there will be a little extra with one side probably 26inch. I purchased a towel bar from a competitor to see their packaging and that was 24inch towel bar that had blister package over 27 inches did they just pay a penalty or was it moved to a higher tier Amazon fee? It was a Moen product they’re pretty famous brand
      I read somewhere that if I sent my products in with pallets there would be no such restriction?

      I've recently submitted my Australian goods to an Australian FBA FC last week.
      I still have to try and get another couple hundred items shipped out to US and UK FC's in the next 2 weeks. Video came at the perfect time! also liked and commented for the YT algo hahaha

      The country of origin stickers are required by each country's customs office for import purposes. Some countries enforce it more than others, but it's always been a requirement.

    So let's say I'm sending in spatula sets (I'm not), does each product still need to be in a box separately inside carton? Can they just be in separate bags or something and then amazon boxes them up when they ship? I assumed every unit must be in a ready to ship box. Hope this makes since. I'm about to decide on first product. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  ปีที่แล้ว

      Each unit needs to be properly packaged in ready to sell condition. Like if you walked into Target or Walmart and picked it up off the shelf.

    • @jasongibson8186
      @jasongibson8186 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean does every unit need to already be in a box separate from each other. Ready to be put on a truck. Or does Amazon always always re-box it in there Amazon boxes?

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jasongibson8186 it doesn’t have to be in a box. I went over the packaging options in the video: box, poly bag, blister pack etc. if you went to a retail store and grabbed one off the shelf, what would it be packaged in? You can do the same as long as it follows the guidelines i went over in the video.

    • @jasongibson8186

      Got it, so each unit will be put in its own box and then in a carton and shipped to Amazon. and that individuals box that my supplier put each unit in is the box the customer will receive. Amazon will not put in a different box. Thanks.

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jasongibson8186 Amazon WILL put your product (and whatever else the person ordered at the same time) into an Amazon shipping box or padded envelope to ship to your customer. Again, I went over this in the video. if you haven't already watched it, I suggest that you do.

    Question regarding printing/accessing the FNSKU barcode in Amazon - Can we only print/access the amazon barcode once the product listing is live? I don't have the inventory for the product that I want to sell yet, so I haven't created the listing yet for that reason. However, I want to give my supplier the barcode pdf so that they can put the barcode stickers on my product, so that when they ship it to me, its already done and I don't have to do it myself. How do you suggest we get the barcode before the listing is created? Or is there a way to create the listing and get the barcode without making the listing live?
