She is a universal representation of the mother, which has had a plethora of depictions in mythology,. Addition of symbols such as snake and moon may make it seem as if further branching out, but in fact, they only emphasise the primary primordial image of the mother and the images of birth and change. We could also say that once the unconscious content becomes conscious, it takes on a specific individual form. In Dany's case, this form is coloured by her own consciousness (identity as a Targaryen = dragon, as Drogo's moon of life, as the slaves' mother and saviour, etc.).
@@FictionPsychology Here's a question: if you've read the "Fire and Blood" books, then you must be aware of one Rhaena Targaryen; to me (and I hope to many others) her life is a narrative parallel to Daenarys's. Say that you could compare the two in these symbolic representations, do you think that we could discover the same, or similar, archetypes?
Perfect video!! I love your psychological analysis of Book Daenerys and how you mentioned the parallels with Jon. So many readers have her character all wrong, it's depressing.
I hope discussing c*vid on your channel has not blacklisted you in any way, your analyses are definitely among the highest quality ive seen in this fandom for many many years 😂
Perhaps it has, who knows? I'm still planning on discussing it in the future, though. The collective psyche seems to have remained spellbound to this day as a consequence, throwing individual sovereignty and bodily integrity right out of the window. It only highlights the severe case of cognitive dissonance we suffer from today as a society... I appreciate your feedback!
Okay you made some good Points in you Video, I enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for making it. I would like to discuss some of your points with you, but first of all I have to watch the other Videos. Because you point out that Daenerys won't go down the same Road as she did in the Show, which she won't Time-Management-Wise that doesn't make Sense at all. But you forget one Factor in these Books which can lead to make Daenerys the Mad Queen, which is Prejudice, Misogyny and Winter, in other Words Westeros Society and there current State when Daenerys arrives.
Many Targaryen have problems with Cluster B. ( HPD, BPD, NPD, APD) and the book version is mostly BPD but she has similar traumatas than my BPD patients so the ending was not a suprise for me and remindet me a bit of Adolf Hitlers order to burn down germany .... or a BPD patient burning down a relationship or threatend the Husband to kill the children and burn down the House.
That only happened in the show not the books she even in the current books feels sad about him dying also visarys was an abusive piece of shit she has every right go be happy with his justified execution.
is she? did you read the books? Dany tried to protect the creature that abused her all her life and sold her like an animal. but when he threatened her baby it was the moment she thought "he's no my brother". she had to watch him die, she was a victim and he was the abuser, and yet, she feels guilty later on.
With Daenerys juggling so many archetypes, it's a miracle she hasn't collapsed

The amount of people who completely miss the point of her character is agonizing .
Do you mean Kelsey L. Hayes?
Thank you so much! I've been waiting for an analysis about her for so long!! ❤❤
She’s an allegory for the Pistis Sophia, the great mother of the gnostics❤

Your videos always invigorate me.
Again, I wish I were a fictional bruh so you could dissect my psyche 😭
Love your videos❣
So interesting, thanks for sharing it with us.
Would you consider doing a character analysis of Johan Liebert or Makima? I loved your Griffith video.
La reine du maïs.
Can we get a Jaime analysis next, please? 🙏🙏🥲🥲
The books will never get released, so she will not go anywhere.

She doesn’t HAVE to watch her brother die; she chooses to watch him die and is GLAD about it.

@@Nihilanth only in the asoiaf fandom will people blame the victim and not that abuser .
@@thatoneblackdude3333 actually, that's what disgusting people do irl too
@@Nihilanth yea but it's so rampant in this fandom especially with dany for some reason, I've never seen this in any other fandom.
