My hubby is a mamo and mime player. I love him for it ❤ it’s like you made this video to hype him I think defenders generally speaking are the best allies!
buzzwole mains can be one of the best allies because it can kidnap any carry pokemon from opposing team as well as can also save you from the opposing pokemon by throwing using smack down while you are low at hp
There's a list of what Ho-ohs do bad. That you see EVERY game. 1. Don't use their resurrect. 2. Feed the enemy team by resurrecting allies in a bad spot. 3. Playing too passively or too aggressively. Which prevents them from using their resurrect because they're either dead or their allies are forced to fight a teamfight at half health. 4. Resurrecting allies that have almost respawned (I had a match where I was resurrected in the middle of the enemy team when I had one more second before I respawned). 5. Going off and doing things on their own when they have weak secure and ko potential. Which gets in the way of their ability to be present in a teamfight. Therefore, no resurrection. 6. Predetermine who they're going to resurrect. This can be good. But it also means that they will hold on to their unite move until said pokemon dies, which might only be once. There's missed opportunities there. I think Ho-oh takes some thinking and skill to be a "good" teammate. It's in the same category as Goodra and Crustle, and I prefer the other two. I still have fun with all three, just not in ranked.
@@greenmenace9666 Yes, I feel like a lot of Ho-Ohs just see they can revive someone, so they do. Even if they will be spawned completely surrounded and not only give the team free exp, but also lengthen the respawn time :/
You make me blush :> Mr. Mime is honestly fun to play when you get into it. How I see it, is just how we all as kids never taught our pokemon moves that dont do damage, people see a skill like Mime's Barrier and they instantly lose interest.
Right?! Some people don't realize that mime is one of the best defenders, those barriers are indestructible and will lock players in place, you just won't see how much damage mime has saved you from because he's not taking the hits directly
Then there are other players who see a skill like Barrier and their eyes light up with dollar signs because of the huge value we can see that arbitrary blockades can provide, both defensively and offensively!
As a Blaziken main, I LOVE Hoopa, and I want them to know it, being able to focus on farming while Hoopa get everyone at the objective is so relaxing I can litteraly wait in bushes to overheat one or two important enemy pokemon right before Rayquaza, it feels so much safer
As an avid player of Bliss/Clef/Elde/Ho, I’m glad to be of service to my team. I’m also insanely guilty of using Bliss’s ult as a means to secure a team fight. Love to imagine it as a freight train going through a mosh pit 😂😂
I tried to play Eldegoss in solo queue this season as a challenge, get back to Master using only support Pokemon. I couldn't win matches, just not at all. My win rate was a tad over 20%. I had a match where we were losing the entire time and I managed to Eldegoss unite into Ray to steal it. My team went to score their points, yay, and... then they just never came back. The enemy walked to our side and deposited everything without Ray shields, with only Elde defending. We won that match, and then just handed it away. So I completed the challenge on defenders instead.

@@jennie_art.twitch I'm glad that it worked out for you like that. I used to always play carry and I sweated basically every match all the way into master. It is so small and at the bottom of the screen I was wondering for many matches why Hoopa never actually portaled me anywhere... As a non Hoopa player I apologize if I never used your portal. The game didn't explain it well or make it obvious enough for me 😅
I always ban Hoopa in draft mode and always ask my team to do so if I do not get to ban. Unfortunately few people would ban Hoopa. When one team has Hoopa and the other team doesn't, it basically gives the team with Hoopa a 10-15s advantage on every object fight, assuming same amount of towers remaining for both teams in that lane.

Guess I'm a really good teammate then because slowbro and Eldegoss are my go to when my teams actively refuse to play any defensive roles. Which is almost always the case
I feel like I really need some Eldegoss tips. I've seen you praise Eldegoss as the best supporter, yet I feel like I'm under-performing a lot trying to focus on healing with Pollen Puff and Cotton Guard, yet I don't want to be too aggressive with Cotton Spore.
If I see an eldegoss I assume that they are going to be a liability because in most matches they dont do much in fights sadly. If you are lucky you will get one that uses pollen puff correctly and heals teamates but that is few and far between.
I don’t main supports or defenders…..but I might as well for how often I play them for team balance. Everyone wants to be the main character, so I choose to support or defend them as best as I could with Blissey, Eldegoss, Wigglytuff, Lapras, Blastoise, and Slowbro. Ho-oh is my most recent addition, but I still don’t quite have a handle in understanding how it works just yet for me to say I am any help with it.
Blissey heals are very inconsistent (horrible imo), but Helping Hand is what keeps ADC in their current standings Also unite move, yeah, i agree, its good
i agree with all of these, and elvis prestree had me dying. it’s fr one of the best skins in the game. i currently main umbreon as a defender, although i am starting to play ho oh and the tree more often now
When i see a bad defender or support, i certainly don't feel as tilted as a bad attacker or speedster. Will always take a bad defender and supporter than bad atracker.
i think blissey is a little more difficult than clefable because blissey is a single heal while clefable is a mulitple heal, so you have to know which team mate to heal in team fights where as clefable you just spam moonlight also me being a hoopa, blissey, (clefable), umbreon, slowbro, mr. mime, and eldegoss player "im helping😏"
I find it wild that Mr. Mime is considered a support because I carry as Mime. Nobody knows how to fight him and if anyone tries to 1v1 (with only a couple exceptions) Mime always wins. How can a guy who is supposed to be silly goofy commit atrocities to the enemy team so easy though?
This video should have followed the rules of yesterday's. It would be fair to just put "support Pokemon" at #1. And Defenders take the other half--which is also low hanging fruit. I can't say I like having speedsters on my team, but I would have liked to have seen a spread of roles. And I'd remove Ho-oh. The "good" teammate part of it requires the player to know what they're doing to actually help. It's very possible for the Ho-oh to feed the other team exp lol. Or what I saw yesterday, resurrect me at half health in the middle of the enemy team when I was going to respawn in one second.
People have been telling me to avoid using Fire Spin with Delphox because it’s “toxic.” Now I can point them to this video and tell them it’s how I’m supporting my team, so STFU. Thanks @spragels 😊

i agree with all of these, and elvis prestree had me dying. it’s fr one of the best skins in the game. i currently main umbreon as a defender, although i am starting to play ho oh and the tree more often now
We want to see a Supporter get a Battle Pass holowear!!!
it will mostly be psyduck
Recently I start playing support (have all of them) and I genuinely like it playing as a support is fun 😊
I don't like playing hoopa because technically the base heals allies not you, it makes it REALLY hard to gauge what you did in end game
Elde kinda have the same problem with the sheild , it doesn't appear as healing 😢
When i see a bad defender or support, i certainly don't feel as tilted as a bad attacker or speedster. Will always take a bad defender and supporter than bad atracker.
Umbreon is my favorite defender I be playing it like it’s a Blaziken or something
i think blissey is a little more difficult than clefable because blissey is a single heal while clefable is a mulitple heal, so you have to know which team mate to heal in team fights where as clefable you just spam moonlight
also me being a hoopa, blissey, (clefable), umbreon, slowbro, mr. mime, and eldegoss player "im helping😏"
The problem is how many healing wishes clefable do you even see nowadays.. it's always the drain kiss
Wow. My mains Mime and Wiggly getting some love. I been playing Mime since Season 2.
I tried to switch few times and I just cant. Mime is the 🐐
love seeing my main, trevenant there
You miss the "Delphorest Gump" joke xD
One word you forgot "garchomp" (no explanation needed)
Do yall think cotton guard is still viable? I really love playing cotton guard, but I don't see much of it anymore compared to spore
So a defender and supporter thank you video. Someone needed to do it XD.
The fact that i play all these pokemon says a lot about my winrate.
Fun fact Mamo won worlds during the final game
As a Mime Main, Thanks Jake
That Mr. Mime take…
Ho oh is one of the best allies in Pokemon
Yeah Eldegoss is insane, i played it almost every game to masters and it was easy, have like 80% winrate on it
As an Eldegod main, I agree
Let's go, my 2 mains are slowbro and elde, that's a W
Mamo is my 2nd main. Ice fang earthquake is phenominal
Video is exactly 10:10
I love playing mime so much! ❤
I'm waiting for someone play defender Eldergoss like I'm currently playing not attacker just go full HP held items
As a Slowbro/Eldegod main, I will bring you chicken soup. Yeehaw. 🍲
9:10 Mine are always playing Leaf Tornado 😔
I'm a mime and slowbro main! Yess
