      The kit came with Dana/Spicer hardware and not some grade zero junk?! Color me impressed.

    I'm looking into this process on my W200 73 8 lug. Serious question though that I get a lot of conflicting info on. Do you need to change out the master cylinder and proportioning valve? I've read on forums that the original setup for drum/drum won't work well with disc/drum. Something about the psi needing to be different when switching over.

      You need a master cylinder with a larger front reservoir because calipers hold more fluid. A new proportioning valve is a good idea, either from a newer truck, or an adjustable

      Ok, so definitely need a new master cylinder. Is a new proportioning valve required? Or would I be fine with my stock one?
