thanks for this, I had a question, what if I want to program a wrapped pocket that isn't same depth, like a compression screw for example, would this work too ?
Great question - Wrapped Geometry requires a constant radius, so any revolved feature that has a changing depth (eg: conical floor or surface based floor) would not be able to be machined via this procedure. For those you would need to define the feature via the Multi Surface Feature and use the Multiaxis Mill operation.
I had this feeling about your presentation and music introduction’s a bit similar to gibbscam. Are you guys related to that cam software?
i have soliworks 2020, and i dont have wrapped feature. How can i do to have that feature?
Why wrapped pocket instead of wrapped slot? Which are the differences?
