eighth mile racing I cannot do, need to see big end.. never forget my first top fuel funny car race NHRA, like 76-77? we were so far away you couldn't read the name on the cars, but when they lit out down the strip, you could FEEL the percussion, it was INSANE and the noise? so I had to get closer me and a buddy walked up to the short fence close as you can get, OMG, midway down the quarter and it was just UNREAL the percussion and the decibels was just insane, imma kid of course I raced dirt bikes on a closed MX course, so maybe 100mph was the fastest I ever went back then, tillI got my first car and I pinned it at 125 or so . .lol in any event the clock said like a 228.8 mph at like 6 seconds... guess who it was? ITS WAS A WOMAN!!! Muldowney!!! we were flabbergasted when we saw her jump out remove her helmet .. I was hooked from that day forward .. watching online is one thing, in person, on the fence? bucket list for sure, for anyone male female, anyone . . you will not regret the price of admission or the heat or anything else.. once that first pass is laid down it's another world for the rest of the day, if you have hearing issues or just want to preserve what you do have, at least foal ear plugs its that loud.. it's the feeling that gets ya .. this guy says he'd never ride a motorbike down the lane WOT how about a funny car at 330 mph? huh?
First comment AWESOME. What a bunch of nice rides. Back today for day two if you have something to say about the cameras or the audio PLEASE do it in a nice way negative comments will not be tolerated. Thank you😊
