I’m glad I’m not the only lifeguard watching this. I remember the first time I was getting certified and how confused about everything I was. I kinda wish they could have taken it a bit seriously though

But like it's kinda stupid to FAKE drowning and you also look ridiculous saying to an almost dead person "hHHeeEY aRE yOU AlivE?" So doing that's would be unnecessary unless they are clearly faking it.
From what I've been told if you do compressions correctly you can break the persons sternum, so I don't think its unreasonable to make sure they actually need it first.

Staying alive was how I learned the rate for CPR. If you’re on the nerdier side, you can also use the Imperial March/ Darth Vader’s theme from Star Wars :)

Smosh pit has been my favorite channel on youtube for 3 *years* now. In my opinion they bring high quality content with lovable people , I honestly think they deserve so many more views but at the same time the community is nice the way it is. It's like watching TV but more down to earth (?) and actually funny. I can't wait for more of these job videos this video was golden.

I'm actually impressed with Courtney and her "staying alive" rhythm for CPR. That actually is how fast the compression's should be, and people learn to keep the pace by using that song....but the pace is MUCH faster. Doesn't take long to get tired doing chest compression's either. I know this is all done in the spirit of comedy, but when its an actual life on the line, every second is critical. Well done, Courtney!
