WOW, classic rompler sounds were the first thing I thought to make for this synth. I have a ton of JV-1080 and Proteus multisamples I made for the MPC Live and I use them more than the romplers themselves.
@@Rephazer is there any sort of zero crossing finder, or loop finder for the multisampling on the XY? Everyone seems to gloss over the multisampler, which is one of the only reasons I'd buy the XY (pretending like I could even afford it right now)
Thanks, I am not great at making chiptune sounds although I grew up with them. I think the internal synths should give you enough options to get what you want? Otherwise perhaps someone like Cuckoo will eventually bring you something close?
I hope Teenage Engineering will release some kind of patch converter, before I choose to put in all the manual work. For now the field packs are not yet compatible with the XY.
Thanks! It’s all combined. There is no way as of yet as user to put things into the categories unfortunately. I guess that will come into a future update (perhaps via a software editor?)
@@Rephazer purchased this one. thank you for making these. going to wait and see how the internal synth engines are before shelling out for the other sound pack :)
So glad to see this I purchased yours for the OP one field. The piano sounds for that sound pack are the best that I’ve ever heard.
Thank you so much! 2 wonderful piano presets are included in this sound pack as well!
@ do any previous op1 field sample packs work on xy?
@@videosarchive8058 Not as of yet (not as intended that is) but I hope they will bring backwards compatibility eventually.
What file format are these in?
@@MarkHadala The samples are in wave format. The presets using the wave files are in .preset and .json format.

Nice! Those would probably sound and fit the XY very well. Both of these rompers did amazing things with such little memory!

The XY multisampler reads wav meta data so if your wave files have this loop/note meta data written it will be read by the XY.
Can’t wait for my unit to come in too and your 2 packs are instabuys (as usual!). Thanks for doing these ✌️
And thank you so much for the support! It’s really appreciated
I knew you’d be quick, but not this quick! Mine arrives on Wednesday, and I’ll certainly be purchasing these.
I did not only work on factory presets, but on new sound packs as well ;) Thanks for the support!
these sound fantastic!
Thank you very much!
Any interest in doing a chiptune soundpack for XY? I would totally go for something like that if it's possible! Either way, you're the dude. :D

Is there a way to use the op1-field packs you made in the XY? Or are you planning to remake them for the XY?
I hope Teenage Engineering will release some kind of patch converter, before I choose to put in all the manual work.
For now the field packs are not yet compatible with the XY.
How do you import these?
Via MTP. See the XY manual for more information about this.
nice! is there a linndrum or roland 707 kit in it?
Thanks! yeah drums from both machines are found in these sound packs.
Are these mixed kits and multi sampler or just drum kits like the old presets? Because I see they’re in the same folder.
By the way they sound dope.

the pianos sound very nice, how many samples per piano do you use?
Thanks! I am really proud of them. Both the Sad and Upright piano use 22 samples / key-zones both 6,7 megabytes in total ;)
@@Rephazer thanks! Seems more than enough. I wonder if they also allow multisamples of more than 2 octaves, probably yes.
That’s why they made and included the new multisampler engine in the XY ;)
well done. great and inspirational timbres here. get your hand out of my wallet ;)
Haha make sure to leave some spare cash for these sounds after getting your XY will ya? :) Thanks for the support!
The cost of ownership keeps increasing 🫠
I am sorry about that. I hope the sounds are worth it! It took me quite some time to make these presets ;)
