To think that 4 years later, Mark would be the subject of an intervention and that 21 year later, Mark would be among those who were involved in Erica's intervention.
Isn't it quirky how an Actor/Actress's name is the same name as The Actor/Actress themselves. Mark Lamura played "Mark", Frank Dicopoulos played Frank Cooper on Guiding Light, then Billy Miller (RIP) played Billy Abbott on Y & R, then Sharon Case plays Sharon Newman.
November 28th, 1983 was a truly historic day in the history of Soap Operas. About 90 minutes after the end of this video, Luke and Laura were reunited. I can still remember rushing home from school to watch General Hospital and literally holding my breath when Luke finally saw Laura and raced to her and then screamed: *"LAURAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!"* No matter how good All My Children and One Life To Live may have been on this day, everyone was just waiting for them to be over to see General Hospital on 11/28/83.
Yes she played Lesbian Psychiatrist named Lynn Carson. That was considered to be very controversial in the 1980's. Today it's no big deal. I heard that The Soap Ladies (The Legends) have their own Sewing Circle. Susan Flannery, Diedre Hall, Jane Eliot, and Maureen Garrett who came out a couple of years ago. They'd be perfect on UK Soaps. If you're Gay it's no big deal.
You never know. I also was stunned to find out that Constance Ford (Ada Hobson on Another World 1967-1992) was gay as was Irene Daley (Liz Matthews #2) as well. Then Susan Flannery & Joanna Johnson (Stephanie Forrester and Caroline Spencer) on B & B were involved.
That Riunite commercial has me smacking my 💋. That wine looks so delicious pouring into that glass. I love a chilled glass of white wine. Delizioso.
My sister had such a crush on Mark!
Also isn't it quirky to know that both Donna Pescow and Karen Lynn Gorney did Saturday Night Fever.
To think that 4 years later, Mark would be the subject of an intervention and that 21 year later, Mark would be among those who were involved in Erica's intervention.
That was a terrific storyline & Susan Lucci should have gotten an Emmy for it.
@Draper Scott Fine if that's your opinion. In this storyline I thought she was great.
That's the woman from Saturday Night Fever!!!
Donna Pescow. She also had her own show, "Angie" on ABC.

Look at Stone Phillips!! 😁 And that ad for Reunite.
Devin has the real 80s look
5:23 - Don't miss the reunion of Luke and Laura today on "General Hospital."

Yes, it is.

@@laminage weren’t Hall and Elliot together on the DL?
You mean Days Of Our Lives? Jane played Angelica Deveraux. Also Donna Pescow played Meadow Soprano's Future Mother In Law on The Sopranos.
