I bought the Umidigi and connected it to my desktop but cannot figure out how to transfer files. Computer cannot see the folders on the 256GB internal drive which renders it rather useless. Does anyone know how to transfer files from a desktop to this phone?
Greetings Pax-Hanz Ben! The Doogee V20 does have night vision. You are right that neither one has thermal imaging. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment! Let me know if there's any other phones you'd like to see compared.
Thank you for the info. Your reply is faster than both Doogee & Umidigi offical store in the Philippine the same day i inquired. I also inquiring their aftersale official service center. Also No reply... Thank you very much...
Hey Lukasz! It says they will ship both phones to Poland if you order from BangGood. Here are the links, because it can be hard to find things on that site: Doogee V20: usa.banggood.com/custlink/Km3yMA2K12 Umidigi Bison GT2 Pro: usa.banggood.com/custlink/KDvE2szvT7
you make do comments on how the phones compare on the 5G recepetion/performance. Since we rely on our phones for data connectivity, this is a glaring miss on your part
Thank you for the feedback peter pumpkinEater, that is VERY helpful to know! I will use this going forward with future videos. Let me ask you this: What information would be helpful for determining 5G reception for you? Would it be helpful to know which frequency bands each phone supports, and how many antennas each phone has? I'm not sure what to include because everyone uses different service providers and are in different locations with different coverage.
@@SurvivalSuperhero there are two main points as far as i am concerned. First would be the bands the phone supports and are actually enabled; different carriers support different bands - i bought a BL6000pro because it was 5g only to find it did not support the bands my carrier uses. Second would be how well it actually receives/processes the signal, that is probably partly the antenna and partly the chipset. I suppose the same can be said of the wifi.. my wife's iphone has better wifi speed than my blackview when we are together in the same room,.
@@peterpumpkineater8985 Would it be helpful to say that the 5G bands supported are N1/3/5/7/8/20/28/38/40/41/77/78/79 and WiFi supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac ? Or is that too technical?
Yes, this is useful. Better would be how fast the connections really are. A device might claim to meet a standard, but is the performance really there. For example, my alldocube tablet has brutally slow WiFi even though it supposed to have good wifi
Hi Liliane! You would like me to include wireless charging, AMOLED, night vision, and speakers as categories to compare? Or you would like to see a whole video of Rugged Phones with Wireless Charging, and another video of Rugged Phones with AMOLED, etc? Both seem like good ideas to be honest now that I think of it
It's not true! In my case whit the doogee by bangood, never works and they not refund me because their custom not work when I send-back the failed product!
That is a great question Toby! Umidigi doesn't officially state what type of screen protector is installed on the Bison GT2 Pro at this time. They just say that there is a screen protector pre-installed on the GT2 Pro. But Umidigi did say that the original Bison comes with Gorilla Glass, so many people think that the Bison GT2 Pro either comes with Gorilla Glass, or comes with something equally as strong as Gorilla Glass - because why would they use something weaker on the new model? Here is the official link to Umidigi's specs for the Bison GT2 Pro where they list the screen protection: www.umidigi.com/page-umidigi_bisongt2_bisongt2pro_specification.html It lists the screen protection as "1x Screen Protector (pre-applied)" - but it does still claim to be drop proof, so if it isn't actually Gorilla Glass, it's got to be something at least close to the same protection I believe.
@@tobymutiu2967 Doogee V20 does not have a headphone jack, but you can use a USB type-C to 3.5mm female headphone jack adapter, like this: amzn.to/3zitrE4 Or you can connect wireless headphones using Bluetooth. If you want to listen to the radio, you can do that because it comes with an app that lets you listen to FM radio.
I am very unhappy with Umidigi. Though the Umidigi Bison x10 boasts incredible specs for a decent price, it was the macro 5 mp features that ultimately swayed me to choose the Umidigi Bison x10. But sadly this feature has been a huge disappointment. I bought a Umidigi Bison X10 5 months ago because of all the good reviews. By now we know 5-star reviews are mostly paid for or fabricated. Besides the X10 disappointing camera features, I also experience problems with the sound and most recently the failure of the fingerprint sensor unit. When I researched online, I discovered that this is a common occurrence. The warranty is also a big turn-off. Clearly, there is a problem with BISON X10 and they should recall the whole series. The failure of sensors and other parts on new phones is ridiculous. It is better to have a less rigid phone and drop it than to have a rigid phone that can not function under normal use. I bought my Bison X10 through Joom. Even though Umidigi offers a ONE-year warranty the reseller only offers a 30-day warranty. Talk about getting knocked off by Umidigi and friends. On the scale of rip-offs, this is a huge 10X fail.
Hello Paris France Mission! That is terrible to hear, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the Bison x10. That is also bad to hear that the 5 star reviews were paid for or fabricated. You aren't able to get a replacement from Umidigi, even if the phone is broken??

Why on earth would you want a case for these phones?
Does the bison gt2 pro have HD on Netflix?
Sorry I'm so late! Unfortunately the Doogee V20 is not Widevine L1 certified so it doesn't have HD on things like Netflix
@@SurvivalSuperhero At least read the question after being so late.
So does the V20 support wireless charging? This is what I'm interested in.
Yes, the Doogee V20 does have 15W wireless charging support. Thank you for watching, myshots! Are you going to get one of these phones?
@@SurvivalSuperhero Maybe when the prices go down.

You need to allow File Transfer on the phone. Look for "Android system" notification popup where that feature can be enabled.
Are both no themal and night vision...
